You got a point I think. What if most of tankers just say screw tanks, and go infantry. We could have Fotm wave any way the SP is reimbursed.

People, please understand that FOTM will happen with or without the respec. The time constant of the FOTM is just larger when you train it the regular way. People right now are giving up heavies and specing into medium frsmes because heavies are broken.
A respec can save this game.

Alsp, CCP has confirmed that some kind of respec mechanic is going to be implemented in the long term. A fps cant be good without some kind of respec in the long term to make the game feel fresh.

CCP has confirmed respec mechanic on dust 514 round table at EVE vegas 2013.

#respecsdoesnotequalfotm Define how the game will be saved with refunded SP. The game will be exactly the same and most will do the same thing they are doing now. CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT and MORE CONTENT will be the only thing that saves the game.
And how to get the opportunity to choose between every racial dropsuit in the game when the skills in the skill tree still are so specialized? Respecs until skill tree is revamped somehow.

Content is king. For example if a tech 2 dropsuit is releaded so that you can continue specializing into an assault frame. Basic content is the foundation of the game. That foundation cannot be what we see today? If so, how could we ever make well informed decisions for our future merc careers?

Grind is not king. So what you want is to be spoon fed? We need another brainless shooter that offers nothing but run and gun tactics and a bland lobby shooter. 
Lol. Like this game is soooo complex now. Everyone and their mother can theorycraft the best fitting in the game with HP mods, dmg mods and AR or ScR.
