November Mastery Reward
The goal of battle is to win. But for some, winning is not enough. You must dominate your opponent completely and make him regret ever facing off against you. In November, we will be rewarding people when they do master the art of war. Every day, for your best 3 wins (in terms of War Points earned), you will earn double the amount of War Points in Skill Points. These bonus Skill Points will not count against your weekly cap and will be awarded every Tuesday.


Accelerated SP Week
From November 6 to 13, players will earn active Skill Points from battles at three times the normal rate. During the week, your weekly Skill Point cap will be tripled as well. Passive Skill Point gain will remain normal.

The Black Eagles are running a public trial of their iconic 'Black Eagle' Scout G/1-Series dropsuit from November 14 to 21. Every player will be provided with 50 Black Eagle dropsuits absolutely for free. For every 5 kills scored with a Black Eagle dropsuit weapon, you will earn an additional Black Eagle dropsuit at the end of the trial! These bonus dropsuits will be capped at 70.

what happens if we use AURUM proto weapons from November 23-30
or basically any tier AURUM weapon?

do these weapons still qualify for the rewards?

I'm not against a 30+ hour grind because I'm an AFK farmer, I'm against a 30+ hour grind because I have a life.

Terrible decision.

To all those who say "Well, it's free SP, just enjoy it." I will, but the problem is everyone complained about the last time they did it this way, and everyone said it was a worse event, and made the grind even worse, and CCP didn't listen! The playerbase complains all the time about the grind, why would you even consider making it worse?! Everyone, and I mean everyone, loved the previous "true" triple SP event. I don't remember anyone saying "please let us grind longer instead."

If you want to bring players back from other games and re-energize the players who are still here, this is a foolish way to do it.

IF it actually eliminated AFK, that might be one thing. But it DOESN'T.
- It takes longer to cap so AFKers stick around longer
- It only makes protostomping worse, and since it will also take longer to cap, the protobears will stay in pubs longer before retreating to PC once they are at/near cap.

Bottom line is this: It makes the grind WORSE because it actually takes LONGER than usual to cap for probably a majority of people who don't reliably get 2-3000 WP every game.

This is how a triple SP event should work: It takes the same amount of time/effort to cap, but you end up with 3x as much SP at the end of the week.Period.

With that attitude why would a Logi help you anyway?

You can adjust the suit, but you have to get the kills with one of the default weapons on the suit.

Additionally with the Winter Carnage event, Grenades are not counted for the event either (they aren't a sidearm, light or heavy weapon)

Quick clarification on the Black Eagle event: we will be tracking your kills from the time you received your dropsuits, and that is November 13th. There is no need to save your dropsuits for 14th and then "utilize" them ;) Don't worry, and enjoy the event!
