It was the final 2 weeks of Mordu's private trials.
I was sold by the trailers and the promise of the future.
With big promises, I had expected a game that was leaps and bounds more complete.
Closed beta was supossed to help test the core systems for bugs. Imagine my disappointment when 'Official Launch' was as feature complete as the closed beta.

Played for like a month... got tired of getting raped took a long break... Like 5 months came back right before the E3 build and have been playing way too much ever since lol
I hate Crack 514 anyone know of a good rehab facility for this disease? |

Define here, Been following dust since 08, the EVE Dust514 channel since it was opened, IRC since 2011, got into the Beta just after CCP Logibro, btw my presence is his fault, everyone blame him. it was mid april 2012

Got into closed beta but my code wouldn't work, spent long enough researching dust and eve, downloaded within minutes of open beta going blive after about a 5 months long wait, maybe longer.
Level 1 forum warrior.
Minmatar and Gallente fw.
Fix PC lag please CCP.

Same as you bud merc pack but heard about it before that but didn't get a beta key so a while. |

Back then you could only play on 1 map and skirmish was a little bit different I think they only had skirmish and ambush matches then as well not even faction warfare. They didn't even have corporations back then. |

I played DUST since last year before the Codex build during the closed beta, fun times, I still remember the Breach FG's one shotting the RDV's, the nightmare of the Dropship domination, really good battle music, the "dong!" when you got a kill... good times.

This all sounds right. That original skirmish was a better game mode than the version of skirmish that we have now. Also I started on May 25, 2012. |

Mordu's Private Trials. I remember being one of the last two people that bothered to try and still play against BAD FURRY and his Sagaris/Swarms abuse... bad times, but nostalgia makes fools of us all... |
