Been in DUST from the just before Mordu's trials.
Originally stumbled into EVE through a mathematician's blog - i went to the blog chasing some information on the calculus of variations applied to information entropy.
The blog post immediately below the post i was looking at mentioned EVE and the reviewer said something like 'This game is brutal but dangerous, don't download it.'
Poof. A year of my life gone, just like that. |

Same time here but under my Los Silencio character (that was my main back then). I specifically remember Pent'noir's heavy and how much of a pain it was to try to kill him.

Yes, just before and during E3 they had the Slay game on playstation home, you did everything and got a key. Skirmish 1.0 was the bomb but they had to remove is because it basically crashed you every 3 games.

I got into the beta some time around April or May of 2012, can't remember. Didn't really play it much because it was hot garbage at the time, though I really wanted to like it since I've been following it since 2009 debut. Then the open beta started last January, so I downloaded it again, played for a couple days, and deleted. Then I kept reading more impressions about Dust, and again really trying to like it, I downloaded it again a few days later. At that point, my third time downloading the game, something clicked and I got hooked. Too bad most people don't have the patience to try a game three times.
Aero Yassavi, however, started on May 30th, 2013 when I started getting into the lore and realized I hated my previous race, the Gallente, and had to change.

I got here the day beta access was given to all PS+ members. Back when ARs had scopes and swarm launchers had dumbfire. |
