A Forge Gun is more effective against infantry than a Blaster Tank? Lol what game are you playing, because it certainly is not DUST 514!
The FG may deal more Alpha Damage than any tank turret, but tank turrets have a far superior DPS with even small turrets.
Contact grenades do not need a "homing" mechanic because the blast radius is so ridiculously large that even a poorly placed Locus Grenade is near impossible for a Heavy to avoid.
Now, perhaps you would like to comment constructively on the intent behind the original post:
Fact: Everything that can kill a Tank can kill a Heavy much faster, with the exception of the Four weapons I listed in the original post.
Fact: Any vehicle turret can kill a Heavy before even an Assault Forge Gun can charge.
Fact: Heavies have much more to contend with on the battlefield than HAVs and do it with much much less HP Buffer or Repair.

I think when CCP labeled heavy suits as "being able to go toe to tie with vehicles and survive" I think they meant that they could quietly stand next to a friendly vehicle and live. Because that's about the only way it's going to happen! Lol |

We dont have proto tanks, only proto turrets which are still weaker then the proto FG and cost alot less ISK while the hull itself is basic with basic mods and are **** easy to kill
Sure make the top proto FG 1mil ISK, i dont care i already pay 2mil per tank in PC anyways |

Hahahahah you can't be serious, so tanks should be as cheap as regular gear only with a significant boost in damage and mobility, the ability to shrug off non AV weapons, and a huge go buffer?
Lets pretend for a moment this is even remotely likely -- to even out cost of suits in terms of kills a tank can wrack up the only course of action would be to need their HP to make them easier to kill or allowing small grade munitions able to effectively deal damage to tanks so standard infantry could take you out.
That's something that no one wants. |

Lol no Assault forge guns do incredible amounts of damage per shot. The Wiyrkomi breach could one-shot a lot of shield tanks with proficiency 5 and 2 damage mods. I did that to a Kalaakiota HAV during Chromosome with the DCMA. Also, we don't have PRO tanks. Are you or your elders from Yorkshire? I don't insert a 'u' into some words. It requires any troll to duck in and out of cover, av is the easiest. 1 swarm volley, 3 av nades and a swarm as they run away ruins most tanks.

Well...there isn't an infantry weapon that homes in on the target, is invincible, and does over 1500 damage unmodded and unskilled.
I want cheaper turrets. A bad-ass gunlogi in Chrome costed 800k, a bad-ass gunlogi in Uprising costs 1.4m. |
