Aivonen GÇô The Caldari Navy has recovered the wreckage of the fugitive fleet believed to have been escorting Tibus Heth in Aivonen early this morning. The wrecks were devoid of bodies despite numerous unused escape pods and signs of a prolonged struggle and firefight.
According to the NavyGÇÖs report, it appears the ships were attacked with energy weapons and boarded. What happened after that is unknown, as the ship computers were destroyed by an EM pulse which appears to have been powerful and artificial. Numerous personal effects confirmed to belong to high-ranking members of the Provists have been recovered from the wreckage, including a Caldari Constructions pocket watch reportedly prized by Tibus Heth in the wreck of a Raven Navy Issue. Fresh blood samples recovered from the watch match those of Tibus Heth.
Navy officials have not yet officially speculated on the nature of the attack, nor the disposition of Heth. They have claimed the attack was not conducted by the Caldari Navy or any known associates. Caldari State authorities continue to treat Heth as a live fugitive. |

In naval terminology, "energy weapons" means lasers. That would typically mean Blood Raiders, Sansha's Nation, Amarr Empire, or certain mercenary groups that use customized Caldari ships. Sansha's Nation does use EMP weapons as a matter of routine.
For Tibus Heth to have joined Sansha Kuvakei's utopian experiment would be an ironic end to the story, but it's not a fate I'd wish even on him. |

If we are talking about Aivonen, it is far from blood raiders typical hunting grounds.
Asumming the capabilities of the remaining two groups it is/ could be entirely possible the Sansha's Nation could strike in the heart of Blackrise, nor would an Amarr ship looks all that out of place flying in Caldari space. |

Aivonen is currently experiencing an incursion by Sansha forces.
If the Provist fleet tried to hide there, it is pretty clear what happened.

I'm in contact with FDU capsuleers right now confirming all of this.
The fact no bodies were found is a trademark of Sansha attacks. As is the damage from laser weaponry and the destruction of the onboard computer systems so that communications would not be sent.
Scubbing the interior of the ship, especially ventilation systems, for nanite debris would confirm the theory. Sansha often use nanites in their attacks, programmed to take control of a persons somatic (motor) nervous functions. People in this state can't control their own movement, and just walk right onto Sansha vessels. Utterly terrifying, if you ask me. |

Oh no. Oh no no no no no no no. This is bad. Really, very, very bad.
Don't you all see what is going on here? Sansha is all over this no doubt, but even if the Provist fleet was captured do you really think he will keep a guy like Tibus as a cog in the Nation? If anything, Heth be forced into the upper hierarchy of the Nation's hivemind. If Tibus survived the attack, he could be a force multiplier for the Nation.
A man with that much intelligence on Caldari battle tactics and security protocals, and now he is part of the greatest threat in the universe. We should be preparing for war right now! |

Then you expect him to be a True Citizen of the Nation? That could be disastrous for the State, though what I am more concerned about is how no one seems to know where Sansha is basing himself, and how he can make use of these wormholes.
Assuming Heth was targeted by Sansha two possibilities now present themselves. Sansha either knew or had access to information as to Heth's location which no other empire had access to, how did he come by that? And will he target other influential persons aligned with the greater empires? |

Actually, this event could be entirely serendipitous for the Sansha, rather than a targetted abduction.
Heth was already IN the region, running from State forces, when the incursion occurred (and is still happening). Stumbling upon Heth could have been an accident, but Sansha forces are known to thoroughly spread themselves out within the systems they attack. Heth has no way out of the system, and the Sansha find and board the ship, abducting everyone. Standard procedure for the Sansha, but finding Heth on board was a treat.
If this is indeed what happened, he'll be implanted like all other Sansha slaves, unless Kuvakei has another plan for him.
Also, we actually DO know where Sansha is, thanks to the effort of the capsuleers of the Synenose Accord, many of whom are close contacts and friends. Probes sent through the artificially created wormholes revealed Sansha bases in Jovian space, which we unfortunately have no way of getting to. The technology is likely Jovian as well, which implies that the Jovians are no longer strong enough to fight off Sansha, or more likely, they are all dead from their disease. |

This is true, though I find it rather unlikely he simply was caught through sheer bad luck, if we know anything about either two of these men, Sansha and Heth, they are both very competent, and prepared men.
Discussing this brings up too many possibilities about the nature of the incursions.... |

Your passion on the matter is admirable...but in case you forgot, we can't get to Jove space. The Jovians shut down their border stargates some time ago. Sansha has the advantage here with their wormhole technology. If we could ever replicate it, THEN we could mount an assault. For now, we're stuck dealing with incursions as they arise. |

Maybe we can find a way to reverse engineer the warp technology, or at least find some way of accessing Heaven from the outside. If it were at all possible to lure the Nation traps, we could knock them out with well organize wolf packs and quickly salvage as much as we can as quickly as possible. |

We are constantly seeing encursions from Jove space Mr Echo. The Nation is always launching attacks from wormholes, that Dagger Two has told me lead to that un explored space.
I suppose the Jove are a dead people now, any small number clinging to life are the last remnants of their people either torn apart by their disease or at the hands of Sansha's Nation. |

its always going to be total war... especially with sanhsa. last time I checked, the empires were not that far reached towards the jove, the people that are closets to jove space are all player alliances, no empire for constellations across. |

This reeks of Sansha's Nation. EMP? Check. Missing people, possibly abducted? Check.
The Nation might be trying to flex their guns by capturing a high value target. Probably going to be fitted with an Implant. Depending on whether he is willing or not, he might become a True Slave or a Citizen.
All theoretical of course. |

All theoretical of course. Solidly agreed. Also, apparently a Nation incursion was active in the area at the time. (I haven't confirmed this; I picked it up off the capsuleer IGS.) |
