Aivonen is currently experiencing an incursion by Sansha forces.
If the Provist fleet tried to hide there, it is pretty clear what happened.

I'm in contact with FDU capsuleers right now confirming all of this.
The fact no bodies were found is a trademark of Sansha attacks. As is the damage from laser weaponry and the destruction of the onboard computer systems so that communications would not be sent.
Scubbing the interior of the ship, especially ventilation systems, for nanite debris would confirm the theory. Sansha often use nanites in their attacks, programmed to take control of a persons somatic (motor) nervous functions. People in this state can't control their own movement, and just walk right onto Sansha vessels. Utterly terrifying, if you ask me. |

You're right Galm. The information Heth has in his head could potentially give the Sansha a serious advantage against Caldari forces.

Actually, this event could be entirely serendipitous for the Sansha, rather than a targetted abduction.
Heth was already IN the region, running from State forces, when the incursion occurred (and is still happening). Stumbling upon Heth could have been an accident, but Sansha forces are known to thoroughly spread themselves out within the systems they attack. Heth has no way out of the system, and the Sansha find and board the ship, abducting everyone. Standard procedure for the Sansha, but finding Heth on board was a treat.
If this is indeed what happened, he'll be implanted like all other Sansha slaves, unless Kuvakei has another plan for him.
Also, we actually DO know where Sansha is, thanks to the effort of the capsuleers of the Synenose Accord, many of whom are close contacts and friends. Probes sent through the artificially created wormholes revealed Sansha bases in Jovian space, which we unfortunately have no way of getting to. The technology is likely Jovian as well, which implies that the Jovians are no longer strong enough to fight off Sansha, or more likely, they are all dead from their disease. |

Your passion on the matter is admirable...but in case you forgot, we can't get to Jove space. The Jovians shut down their border stargates some time ago. Sansha has the advantage here with their wormhole technology. If we could ever replicate it, THEN we could mount an assault. For now, we're stuck dealing with incursions as they arise. |
