It is absolutely ridiculous how incredibly fast you can maneuver with a mouse now. I honestly cannot understand how in the world anyone can complain about aim assists when you have what feels like raw input from the mouse now. What is so hard a capping mouse turn rate at controller turn rate? Why can't CCP just cap directional changes to what the DS is capable of?

You either turn 360 degrees twice in a flash, or have to set the sensitivity so low that you need a 25 meters long table. Listen.... you go a head and try to use the mouse at max sensitivity ... good luck. I sticking to the AA to CCP fixes the mouse.

For scouts facing DS3 it's the hit detection, improved DS3 aiming(without AA), AA, and reduced lag. I would say the largest factor in the scout-hammering is the hit detection, followed closely by the AA. Maybe i'm not giving the lag tweaks enough credit, because scouts are now exactly where i see them - the need to lead or trail shots is gone.

So I assumed when I plugged one in it was going to suck and I would use the controller more, why wouldn't I, AA basically plays the game for me right? Wow, I was suprised. Like I said an adjustment period is in order of course, but I am definately going to give it a shot.

Your afternoon experiment is not a very significant statistical sample on which to draw any conclusions... Marauder is referring to AA = EVERY shot hits. Go play for a month with kbm and then come say AA is to blame. ds3 guys with aa off have my respect, but anyone with AA turned on needs a unique chevron so I can go out of my way to pick them off.
