DUST Search - i am calling for an investigation into arriana and her corp

Kaios Family SVER True Blood Public Disorder. 30	Posted - 2013.10.04 14:28:00 - [3] - Quote i dont know everything so yah i dont know HOW but i know you CAN. and if you look you start a match full ping couldnt possily get a better connection then about 5 minutes into the pc match the lag starts. and im not refering to frame rate drops im refering to ... feeding somone in the face and it doing no damage evin though you get hit markers and your plugging them right in the face...... and it does zero damage cuz ... there not there anymore. they ARE running speed hacks. and making you lag so they just run around faster than a scout could evin dreem of running and kill people. and never evin get hit ...... run into eny of them in a pub match and they go down faster than hell.... they are going to ruin PC and yup CCP there gona cost you money ..... yup your all focused on FW ..... ut if you cant see that your core of players are competitive players and play for PC..... well if PC is going to e run like this they will all leave. new games are out and people are already leaving in droves, why you ask ..... is it cuz the game has some problems mechanics are off .... hell no ... its cuz youre turning a blind eye to these guys running hacks and glitches and admitting to it. and you do nothing .... infact you come out and say yup we know there doing it but we dont care. nm fixing the GAME fix the cheets first then worrie aout balancing the game ... how can you excpect to "balance" the game when these guys are MAKING it UNBALANCED by ussing hacks and glitches.

They would have to be able to hack the incoming IP information of the server itself and be able to sort the Eve IDs from the Dust IDs. Then they would have to track the IP to DoS it. Because if they DoSed the server, they would be messing the game up for themselves as well. I don't see it really working in their favor and it's a lot of work just to win a PC battle.

CCP has a system in place that detects manipulation of data thanks to ten years of experience dealing with macro Bot users and ddos attackers. If such level of cheating is happening then CCP would have noticed it by now. They have a dedicated security team for this you know.

I agree that it seems slightly unusual for an entire corp to be doing this kind of thing, and you are right, it is more likely a built in exploit being exploited. Goons have proven that if enough users do it CCP will take notice and fix the issue. Could you please explain the Melee exploit so more of us can show CCP that we don't like it? BTW who is Arianna? Never seen her/him before.

CCP and the CPM are "investigating", and have locked the previous thread that had any real traction on this matter. It wouldn't surprise me if in the future, employment history with Ancient Exiles is going to be a big red flag for former members, and it'll be a well deserved stigma.

In at least 50% of our matches (against various corporations) about 1/4 to 1/2 way through the match we get waves of latency and FPS issues. It's a glitch in the game code, and not an exploit (as far as I am aware). Something that generally comes in most probablility from having a lot of equipment active on the field.
