Its not really about the healthcare. Its about making Obama fail as a President so they gain political points during next election cycle. Problem is they are sacrificing the public's health for this. People would literally die because of them if they manage to get their way. Lack of preventative health care in the United States actually drives up costs of insurance too.

Now the Republican's are playing games with America's finances. If they don't raise the debt ceiling America will default on its loans which will cause a huge ripple affect that will be felt in other nations as well considering the dollar is the cornerstone of the current financial institutions and the oil trade.

This is basically them committing political suicide and taking as many of us with them as they can.

Yep 2 most powerful things the president has at his disposal are the military ( he is all powerful in that regard being the commander in chief ) and the power to veto. Here is the funny thing though his power to veto isnt absolute. So really the president can't even stop things from becoming law the the senate or congress get enough for a majority vote they can push right past the presidents veto.
So really blaming the president for anything other than military action is barking up the wrong tree.

Ultimate solution: remove all "central" sc governments and let people take responsibility for their lives in their own hands with respect to lives of other people ofc. Aka "the golden rule" - "Do to others as you would have them do to you"

Get rid of everyone in the government that has been elected in the past 4 years and those who have been on longer.

Vote in people that actually stand for the people.

Both sides are at fault. Obama was the first to say that he would shut the government if he didn't get his way. Compromise is a 2 way street not one side giving in to the others demands as we saw with the government shutdown. Remove the penalties people would face for opting out and you would see more people such as myself participate in ObamaCare. But since they want to tell me that I have to pay another bill on top of the ones I already have or face fines well they can kiss my ass.

Is that what Faux "News" told you to say? Obama had nothing to do with this shut down. Only Congress has the power to pass a budget. Which makes it kind of obvious that this was Republican orchestrated. It cost the American economy 25 BILLION to boot before all was said and done. What did they get to show for it? A good roasting by the American public before they tucked their tail between their legs and ran home to mommy cause the "mean" black man wanted to make sure every American had medical care like every other civilized nation in the world.

As far as what every other "civilized" country does, don't ******* care what they do in other countries. If I wanted things like they are in other countries I would move there, I stay in America because I enjoy the freedom we have, or rather are supposed to have and would prefer we kept that freedom.

Yes, Obama is going to put on his combat boots and parachute from Air Force One, blow a hole through your roof, and land in your living room. He is then going to karate you into submission and force you to sign up for Obamacare! Question!?! Do you get insurance through your employer? If the answer is yes then Obamacare doesn't even have anything to do with you and you can go about your life. If the answer is no then you have a chance to get preventative care which will save lives, cut costs to health care(lack of preventative care has been proven to drive up costs), and it will create a boom in jobs for everything involving the health industry. More doctors, nurses, clerks, and even IT staff will be needed to cover the extra 20 - 30 million people soon.
