Do grenades do 6 radius for 12 m blast cimcumference ??
Or did you mean 6m blast cimcumference
mass driver 4m blast radius for 8m blast cimcumference?
or mass driver 4m blast cimcumference?
Did someone at CCP Shanghai confuse the two??

Radius, diameter, circumference and now apparently cimcumference.
To be honest I don't know, I just assume when they say something they are correct.

Correct me is i'm wrong ... but i'm pretty sure you can't have Radius without a circumference, and the diameter is part of the Radius.

I have a feeling the OP is mixing up Circumference with Diameter.
As far as Radius vs Diameter, I'm pretty sure we stick to radius when we give numbers which means you have a 4m blast radius and an 8m blast diameter. CCP Logibro // EVE Universe Community Team // Distributor of Nanites // Patron Saint of Logistics

Usually a blast radius denotes the distance from the grenade (warhead or what have you) out to one side then that distance applied all around.
I.e. start in one direction and spin around in a circle to complete. Hence, it should be 12m diameter.

Interesting. Why is it that the friendly fire radius/diameter is halved when applied to the user of a Mass Driver..?

it's not really the school system's fault, it's an old old system. there's a good ted talks by the guy who does 'khan academy' about how the current education system was started during the brit empire, and it's changed very little since. |

I question that as well. In case any Americans here don't know what the distance of a meter equates to in feets. That 13.2m is is about 43.3ft diameter. How on earth does a MD have a blast diameter that huge! No wonder MD's wipe out everything in a small room. Lolz. |

Privet. Spasibo.
I learned in grade school how to find the internal volume of a 50cm D by 300cm L pipe" P1" and then find the internal volume of a second pipe 45 cm D by 300 cm L pipe "P2" then to deduct P2 from P1 to obtain the variable to be filled with expanding foam before calculating net internal volume to then calculate the port tunning frequency of a subwoofer DIY Home Theater cabinet? |

This has been another mathematics lesson with CCP Logibro. I like Pi .. 3.14159... a mathematical constant that never change.

/poke CCP Logibro Correct me if i'm wrong ... but i'm pretty sure you can't have Radius without a circumference, and the diameter is part of the Radius. I find all this stuff so confusing ....
Holy ****, I learned all of this stuff when I was 12; how does anyone now at days confuse geometry in the slightest? I thought Dust 514 had a "smarter" player base, I was apparently very incorrect. |

As far as Radius vs Diameter, I'm pretty sure we stick to radius when we give numbers which means you have a 4m blast radius and an 8m blast diameter. So the assault mass driver 6.6 m radius is 13.2 effective blast diameter before skills are added to this?? Still UP for damage total. Grabs a GEK. Thanks for the clarification on mass driver damage area. Well, at least it's got a 41.44m circumference!
41.44m Circumference?
Should be 41m Circumference. Significant digits brah. |
