does it really matter, if I was to make an estimate I'd say a minimum 95% of rewards for these events are utterly pointless to the people participating.

if we could sell them they'd be on the market nearly immediately.

in this respect we are all equal.

on top of that it's not even vanity items anymore, it's just generic protogear, it's a slight step above just giving us a coupon for 2 million isk, to be redeemed at some unknown date.

I'm all for more heavy support, I've been rolling with the fatties since beta but if you want more guns, you've already got em, yeah your a big fat target while using a Plama cannon and your AR ADS may as well be stood still, but you can still use what you like, when you like, personally, I love my 18K ISK Dren heavy, it kills and it dies, just the same as everything else - if my proto wasn't so damn expensive (180K ISK) I might use it more and don't even mention my priceless Min-7's... They stay locked away from Troll-bitals and explody things alike.

Sit down, pack on some more complex dinner plates and await thine (eventual) glory.

Alright, since no one else has yet I'll come out and say it. This make no kitten sense at all. Why couldn't you just give the Amarr the scrambler or laser rifle for tier two, and then a heavy dropsuit for tier 3? Who said it had to be a heavy suit and a heavy weapon? At least give us something. Because what you have right now is an event that somehow manages to have multiple choosable rewards, and yet still literally not a single reward for heavies. And there's just absolutely no excuse for it.

Will we get a partial respec when the other heavy racial suits are released? We should get all our SP in Amarr sentinel and basic returned, so we can choose which heavy suit to spec into, like assaults and logis were able to from the start. You've done SP refunds before, e.g. we got SP back when the reload SP cost was reduced in 1.4, so I know it's possible.

I literally could not care any less about event rewards. The fact is, heavies are the red headed step child of Dust 514 content. I laugh at tankers and scouts complaining as they choose between two factions and more than two weapon systems. I don't want heavy rewards, I want some freakin heavy content. I have more HMG's and Forge gun's than I can shake a stick at. Another one will only remind me that I'm playing a role that CCP barely acknowledges.

I run HMGs as well. Just not as often. I only have 2 levels of Fitting Optimization left until my FG is fully maxed out. Of course I'm going to Forge, and I'm going to do it in the most effective manner possible to help my team win. Most PC battles, I only get ~10 kills. Know why? They try to counter my playstyle.

Don't get mad at players for utilizing weapons to their fullest potential.
