Assaults, Logis, and Scouts can use fittings made up entirely of BPOs. Heavies can't. |

also, for purposes of equality. I can run a full BPO suit of every suit class except heavy, cos no BPO HMG or Forge. But there's a BPO for every other basic role, as well as all sorts of weapons (I think the only ones that don't have BPOs are PC, Flaylock, Knives and MD?) |

For some reason the rewards part made me thing War Points. So my suggestion was going to be if a heavy dies as speed bump doing "point defense" does that mean we can get bonus War Points? How about a boost in passive SP gain while sitting at a hack point picking our nose. Because everyone knows how much fun it is to be doing AFK farming wrong. |

I run HMGs as well. Just not as often. I only have 2 levels of Fitting Optimization left until my FG is fully maxed out. Of course I'm going to Forge, and I'm going to do it in the most effective manner possible to help my team win. Most PC battles, I only get ~10 kills. Know why? They try to counter my playstyle.

Preferable to just have event rewards have a choice element (i.e. - you get your choice of Amarr-themed prizes, or whatever). Also better to have unique ones, but... yeah. |

Actually, other than the fact that you now have a commando suit as well the heavy class has stayed exactly the same (weapons anyways) since closed beta. |

Will we get a partial respec when the other heavy racial suits are released? We should get all our SP in Amarr sentinel and basic returned, so we can choose which heavy suit to spec into, like assaults and logis were able to from the start. You've done SP refunds before, e.g. we got SP back when the reload SP cost was reduced in 1.4, so I know it's possible. |

I think a partial SP refund ONLY would be more than fair for both Scouts and Heavies when their new suits are dropped. I say that and I only have Frame Heavy suits. I wouldn't be affected at all. It just makes sense to do IMO. |

I literally could not care any less about event rewards. The fact is, heavies are the red headed step child of Dust 514 content. I laugh at tankers and scouts complaining as they choose between two factions and more than two weapon systems. I don't want heavy rewards, I want some freakin heavy content. I have more HMG's and Forge gun's than I can shake a stick at. Another one will only remind me that I'm playing a role that CCP barely acknowledges.
I would be willing to bet that the tier three battlecruisers in Eve had a shorter development time before being implemented into a much more complex system than our own. But then again, the players actually have a voice in Eve online. There is no jita statue for mercs to join together and shoot while CCP wonders why players aren't happy. |

I feel your pain fat brother, but while they're working on new content I wouldn't mind 50 x Boundless HMG and 25 x Heavy AK.0 rather than 50 x scrub rifle and 25 x skinny jeans. It's not like they'd have to pull someone off the content team to make some of the rewards relevant to heavies. |

you are at Fitting optimisation 3 and almost maxed?!?! so Ammo and Reload maxxed too the right?
DS you must have at least 5-6 mil SP invested in that gun, THAT IS SICK!
just out of curiosity, how quickly does it reload with the reload maxxed? does it makes that much of a difference?

I don't know what my reload time is exactly. I know it's a LOT faster though. It makes a huge difference, especially with our 4 round mags. I don't really need Optimization, so I doubt I'll get it anytime soon. I'm pumping SP into my HMG now. |
