October Event Schedule
We'll be rolling out Uprising 1.5 in October which will bring further improvements to DUST 514. To celebrate the release, we'll be holding several events over the course of the month to help drive you to the top of the mercenary mountain. These events are aimed at players old and new, dedicated players who have stuck with us and those coming back to check out how we've made the game better.
October is for Winners
Over the course of October, we will be rewarding those who manage to take down their enemies by providing bonus Skill Points for your first three wins each day in any game mode or contract type, except Planetary Conquest. In each of these first three wins, you will earn double the value of the War Points earned in bonus SP. These bonus SP will NOT count against your weekly Skill Point Cap.
This event will run all October long!
October is for Winning Rookies
Similar to the above event, we are also helping our newbros out by offering anyone in the Rookie Academy the chance to earn bonus Skill Points for their first five victories each day. No matter the game mode or contract type, except Planetary Conquest, you will earn double the value of the War Points earned in bonus SP. These bonus SP will NOT count against your weekly Skill Point Cap.
This event will run all October long!
Factional Warfare Challenge
The empires of New Eden are battling each other in Factional Warfare and are pushing harder than ever for the cloned mercenaries to back them up. Each of the factions are pushing for their side to gain momentum over the week of October 8 to 15. During the week, the factions are asking you to prove your loyalty to their cause by fighting solely for their side and winning battles on their behalf.
- Fight 20 Factional Warfare matches for one faction and win at least 55% of them and you'll earn the Tier I rewards.
- Fight 30 Factional Warfare matches for one faction and win at least 50% of them and you'll earn the Tier II and Tier I rewards.
- Fight 40 Factional Warfare matches for one faction and win at least 45% of them and you'll earn the Tier III, Tier II, and Tier I rewards.
The rewards are different depending on which faction you fight for. So choose wisely!
Amarr:
- Tier I GÇô 100 x Imperial Flux Drop Uplink
- Tier II GÇô 50 x Carthum Assault Scrambler Rifle
- Tier III GÇô 25 x Logistics ak.0 Dropsuit
Caldari:
- Tier I GÇô 100 x Ishukone Gauged Nanohive
- Tier II GÇô 50 x Kaalakiota Tactical Sniper Rifle
- Tier III GÇô 25 x Assault ck.0 Dropsuit
Gallente:
- Tier I GÇô 100 x CreoDron Active Scanner
- Tier II GÇô 50 x CreoDron Shotgun
- Tier III GÇô 25 x Scout gk.0 Dropsuit
Minmatar:
- Tier I GÇô 100 x Six Kin Triage Repair Tool
- Tier II GÇô 50 x Six Kin Assault Combat Rifle
- Tier III GÇô 25 x Logistics mk.0 Dropsuit
You can only earn the rewards for one faction. You will qualify for rewards based on which faction you fight for the most often. So, if you fight 40 matches for the Caldari and 30 matches for the Gallente, you will only be eligible to earn rewards from the Caldari. If you have equal numbers for different factions, you will earn rewards for whichever faction you have the higher win rate for. Finally, if even that is tied, you will earn rewards based on which faction you completed the requirements for first.

It's already been changed to Mass Drivers. I guess this was originally written when Combat Rifles were intended to make it into 1.5. |

Really? This again? And the numbers are even worse this time. The rewards are better, but then again: It will be impossible to get them anyways. Because once again it depends on the blueberries, and not on what you do. This is a lottery. |

Tier 3 rewards are abit "derp", they are the worst rewards because they almost exclude the majority of the players playing for the Faction. I'm afraid the only good things in this are Tier 1 and Tier 2 rewards, but unfortunately we can only choose 1 faction... |

will the academy last longer or something? because its only 1200 wp which is a cake walk and the max is like 8~ matches before they leave academy. |

I think it's not fair, to be tossed into a battle that is lost already, without the possibility to have any influence on the outcome, just to spoil your own record...

love the rewards for the amarian fw serious first time you've given me anything worth wasting my time 1/4 a reup on my proto suit lol (i reup in the 100's)
however kinda stupid to double the sp in academy for five matches most people graduate after 1 match scrub or no scrub yall seriously need to rethink your wp graduation tier. |

Indeed, the Academy is seriously messed up. People get out of it in 3 to 4 matches, they hit pub or fw, get stomped, uninstall game. That is happening. WP should be upwards of 20k wp or smth similar. |

Exactly. This is happening. Got 2 friends on dust a couple of weeks ago, they started well with some tutorials on my part, but all it took for them to leave the game was a couple of academy games and then several pub matches. And thats it. Doubt they will play it again. |

I doubt it. They are expensive as **** already. And instead of fixing prices for ISK Dropsuits they should just introduce the player market and link it with the Eve Online market. Would make things so much easier. |
