Lol, while your numbers are exaggerated (just a bit) I will give you there are way more ****** infantry than there are ****** tankers, but only cause there is way more infantry than tankers.

So I offer a compromise. Over the next week or so I will do my best to help blue tanks, so long as they are at least attempting to be productive and letting me get off the bumper if they hit me (it happens, I know, just let me get off). All I ask is that you blue tanks at least look at who all is on your team, and if it looks like you have a strong squad or two, give them a chance to work on some of the supply depots. Those things can be crucial. And if you hit someone, let them get off your bumper (unless you got a bunch of swarms launched and heading your way, in that case I do understand. It's getting pushed forward as tanks are attacking that is really irking foot soldiers).

Unfortunately I can only speak for myself on this compromise. Hopefully any infantry players reading this thread will follow suit.

We can start there and see what happens. If we can get some trust built back up between tanks and foots and get us all working together, we could do some amazing stuff.

I refuse! It's comfy in there with the air conditioning, and the cushy seats..., and the armor and shields equal to 10+ times that of my scout suit.

When Infantry failed to realise one of their greatest assets on the field is a friendly Madrugar. Sure they curse enemy Maddies like the plague when they roll around, yet the fail to protect, defend, or ever support their allied tanks especially in urban areas.

Now tanks never enter urban areas, they never care about allied infantry being butchered when they could help, they never care about objectives.

Because as Infantry we (and I was one of you) let the ******* tanks down in almost every conceivable way.

LOL True sometimes I think you're just crazy. Battles I've been in, mercs support their tanks. They will chase down swarm launchers and take out Forge gunners so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

The truth is, the tank holds no respect for the infantry. I jump in a tank, he automatically thinks I'm just in it for WP assists. If I'm driving my LAV, the tank will just mow over me without any regard. And I didn't even see the tank. If I turn the corner and there's a tank moving in my direction, he will just continually drive forward while I'm stuck in some jerk animation as I try my best to get away from the tank. Which is really impossible until the tank decides to let me go.

Someone has to stop the foolishness for productivity. Tank guys gotta stop looking at infantry as just morons who flail about on the field and thinking they're some kinda god on the field.

Tanks think your in it for the assist as a minor reward, if you were in it to be productive we would be glad to share our kills and WP with you, we would LOVE that. But we know infaintry are going to AFK and refuse to leave our tanks for us to recall. So we die.

Your right, we do not respect you guys, we absolutly hate you for getting our tanks blown up so directly. Im glad you and your squad target the AV, but most ppl do not, they do NOT go out of their way to kill the AV over there, they dont care about us and we cant deal with them over there. So they cause us to get blown up indirectly as well. So yeah. Forgive us for our lesser evil of destroying your lavs and dropsuits, cuz yal cost us tanks. Btw, we KNOW were not gods on the feild, not even close

Sounds kinda fun though, I may just slap on some free militia suit on an alt I don;t care about, go find the nearest tank, and refuse to leave so they can't recall and also shoot the guns wildly at no particular object.

It bugs me to no end that if theres a friendly tank on the field they wont let me support it. I understand why they dont, but I wouldnt mind getting in your tank with my reppers and shotgun ready to kill swarmers or AV naders and rep the tank afterwards.

tankers would also love this, its mutually benifical but they dont know your trying to be productive

One of my fondest moments in uprising is when I jumped into a shield tank as he was headed towards an objective, while we're going a swarmer pops up and hits the tank so I immediately jump out and run him down turned out he had an uplink nearby so I take that out too, along with the unlucky forge bastard that spawned there as I was mass driving it, ran back to the tanker that had decided to stay there and jumped up and down twice to tell him that it was clear but an assault guy with an AR had snuck up behind me and put rounds in my back I turn around with half sheilds fully expecting to die before I kick the bucket though the tanker puts four rounds out and melts the dude, I jump in the tank and we continue the match.

After the match I get a mail that says: "Thanks for the help. Glad I could repay the favor." This is truly something that made me smile.
