As soon as PS4 releases, the player base will take an even greater hit with the availability of other F2P games, better support, better gameplay mechanics, and at least marginally better (i.e., more honest and professional) communication between the devs and the players.
This whole interaction from start to finish appears to be nothing but smoke and mirror for the company to drum up more finances for EVE rather than build an actual link between this game and another.
Hell when is the last time that anyone has seen an EVE pilot actually give a shite about what was happening with Dusters on the ground?
This is becoming more and more a sham, and I feel hoodwinked and bamboozled. Every time a dev decides to rear their head on these forums I feel that we are talking to people that actually want improve the poor conditions of this game and its community, rather we are being face to address a sheisty politician or snake-oil salesman.

Because is not free for everyone, some people actually spends money in this game. I personally have spend enough cash in Dust 514 to get at least one new release, perhaps two.. i forgot exactly how much. Some people have spend hundreds of cash on it, others thousands ..

We're sorry that you don't have a sense of humour. Your kind of post is one of the reasons why game developers generally prefer not to interact with their customers. They get abuse for posting work related stuff, abuse for non-work related stuff, abuse for just having fun and chatting with players etc.
We're also sorry that you seem to feel cheated out of playing a free game. You spent money? Well, maybe next time be sure of what you're spending your hard earned allowance on, so you can make an educated decision on whether to support the company's products.
