I see a lot of folks upset at lost prototype suits since its so easy to die now and since the AR is the most used weapon then lets add an overheat to it.
With an overheat AR gunbattles will be more tactical and not Todays blink and you die. It will also create tactical choices on when to shoot instead of the twitch shooter we have now.
TTK is way too short with folks dieing too fast and we need a way to live a bit longer. |

I did mention reducing the clip to 45. 60 bullets with aim assist is too much in the clip. |

The assault scrambler rifles have overheat, and they're just a better version of the assault rifle. |

HMG overheats and it leaves the user vulnerable Laser overheats and it leaves the user vulnerable Scrambler rifle same
So come here AR we got some mods and tweaking to do
Can you imagine the screams when AR users see the Sacred Cow being tweaked.....lol.
But for real the game does need some balace passes done on ARs such as smaller ammo counts in clips and overheating. |

Basically you want a pause moment while you gather yourself so you can have a chance to kill the assault troop.
The AR is the last weapon that needs any adjustments. |

The assault scrambler rifles have overheat, and they're just a better version of the assault rifle.
If the Assault Scrambler was better (and it overheats if you like fire 3 whole clips) then everyone would be running around with them, i hardly see Ascr rifles and even less Semi auto Scramblers, that kinda means the opposite.
They should add a skill to get the Dispersion fixed, then you will see them used more.

They do?? but just not at the same damage levels. Once a vehicles shield is down then an AR can chip away at a vehicles armor until it dies and yes I have helped to kill tanks that way. |

I never really understood why they added the overheat to the scrambler weapons but not to the plasma/blaster weapons it makes no sense. And why have SCR and AsCR an overheat but not the Scramblerpistol?
The whole weapon technologies aren't consistent in that regard. As it seems CCP randomly throws characteristics throughout the different weapon technologies to create some diversity... |

I wouldn't agree to the overheat, but drop the mag size, you dont need 60 rnds your an AR not an LSW, and then 10% less damage. On a more fun note, you could have a 0.07% chance to jam with every bullet, requires a reload to fix!! |

I said Blaster turret damage as in 150.1 HAV turret damage or even Installation damage in relation to plinking away with an AR but they want to act like I said "ARs do NO damage to vehicles."

True but that can be countered bu giving the AScR faster over heat longer cool down, it already has a larger mag doesn't it?? |
