i really hope no one attempts to exsist in this map. youl loose it, enemys work together to kill your tank but blu dots do not work to keep you alive. with it being so indoors you cant support them very well to keep them alive. if you cant support your team you cant hide behind them. lost hope to try |

thats why my tank driver main account also has a dren sentinel with an assault forge.
asie from tanks, forges have been my fav since day 1. they are simply THAT COOL. i have alts for knives and plasma cannons, but now that my main has tanks and forges, life is complete. |

As long as the tank avoided the open trails of the map there was always a rock to block LOS. very simple, thats a tank needs. a few large rocks |

i guess making them visible would be a start, havent had a chance to see if rendering is fixed, but i WAS hit by invisiswarms already |

TBH, I think they need many more maps like this.... and then buff the hell out of the EHP of tanks. What I like about these maps is that they are big (give a useful role for LAVs and Dropships) and diverse enough that infantry can have fun in certain areas and others where a tank (if it wasnt made of cardboard) would rule. |

To be expected. Its a good thing we have an urban map, and a good one at that. Np that this map is meant to kill tanks, infaintry battles without having to worry about using av is great. Its just.... We need a map were tanks have a chance too |

Tankers actually using team work and not screaming at infantry to get out of their turrets or claiming that sometimes they drive near their teammates and call that working together Man you devs are funnier than I thought |

The Russians made all sorts of screw-ups really, but there were practical matters like the main gun not being able to elevate high enough to hit people in buildings and the tanks not being fully staffed.
In that sense, there's some equivalence, because tankers in Dust often go off with no infantry support (and no gunners). Elevated positions in Dust are frequently fatal to vehicles as well, as they are in real life.
I'd agree that there's something of a power balance issue between AV and vehicles (perhaps a lack of proto vehicles is part of that), but tanks are often disadvantaged in an urban environment. Or, you can also look at them as infantry support vehicles (as armor can be in real life), in which case a tank would normally have a full crew and a squad in support.
I guess I'm suggesting that the map isn't necessarily the problem; it's just AV and vehicles still need their balance work. |

Its a shame theres so many milita tankers and less than 5 mill SP invested tankers that go without support, it really sucks cuz your allowed to say tanks go without support, but those are the nonfactor tankers. even the good tankers wont do well on this map because they cant support infaintry inside the compound, outside of their los or deffend themselfs from the many many golden positions that are great for AV. nothing wrong with it, we just wantn a map good for tanks. thats all, we just have a bunch of bad ones and a new tank trap map |

tankers can not see heavys, your flashlight is gone! run into a herd of bluberrys and the tank will not be able to find you, youl be a black ant in a mound of more black ants. Also, tanks will not be OP, the dev blog explaining the changes in 1.5 has been out for awhile. Armor tanks are getting worse and shield tanks slightly better. Tanks are going to be garbage as awhole and its getting worse for tankers as we get closer to 1.5. srly. every patch sence the end of chromosome has been a beat down on tanks. all of them |

Tank drivers and snipers are complaining about the new maps but they have had Manus Peak for how long?? Not mention, Line Harvest and the bridge maps.
