A simple rubberband to make you walk into the MCC walls will easily circumvent this so called "fix".

Wow. They said they were going to rubber band proof it as well. Well, I suppose that is decent news for everyone who AFKs. |

In fact, I and many others told CCP months ago that a "fix" such as the one they actually did would not solve the AFK problem. |

At least a change of input command ... maintaining a continuous input is exactly what a rubber band does ... surely that was considered in the "rubber band proof fix" !!
Edit : Have you tried holding left so you just turn on the spot without moving ... I wonder if they "rubber band proofed" that aspect but neglected the forward motion possibility ? |

I don't see why people are allowed to stay in the MCC anyway. Is there a legitimate reason why it is allowed? I remember one game when I had just started out I had taken such a beating that I stayed in it for the last couple of minutes but that's the only time. And to be fair I was at least trying to snipe, with the Milita AR for some reason! |

One day after I dropped my controller my r1 button now is super sensitive. It isn't a button anymore. You barely touch it and my gun will fire. Other than that its still kicking. Im surprised it still works I've put that controller through hell. Lol |

Or they could simply do what should have been done from the start; no XP for merely partisipating in a round. And by that I mean that we shouldn't get XP based on the time spent ingame. It should solely be given based on WP earned, making the more active players benefit rather than all the camping sobs I see every game.
Wanna stay at the redline taking potshots with that sniper? Go ahead, but you'd better be a crack shot to get a decent amount of XP out of it.... |

have sympathy with this view - but then everyone would run logis (as many do now for WP). A WP fit: nanos/ reps/ injector - and coming soon scanning - quickest and easiest way to make WP. No need to play objectives or anything.

But is this really a problem for pubs? Who cares if people run fits to boost their WP if they are attempting to hit their SP cap?
I have said it before and I will keep saying it. AFKing problem as Babar said will never be fixed until they remove the SP per second in game and make it a SP per WP. If you make it such that you get 5-10 SP per WP then you will stop seeing people constantly AFKing and you will see more participation in capturing objectives and hives/links/etc. |

Honestly I think you will see the same people just WP farm instead of AFK farm I dunno if thats so much better. As long as CCP decides not to punish booster they will always be there and trying to boost the hell out of that game :/ |

I've taken my controller apart a couple times, the R2 & L2 have springs that have to placed just right to fix, also if you take them out you may over compress them so they don't feel right. You can fix it easily by stretching/uncompressing them.
No idea how messed up the stick input I mean the weights are way at the end

I agree. But they cant just get rid of in game SP without reworking WP.
if you go 20-0 you get 1000 WP
If you follow and rep a heavy all game you can go 3000 WP - adding nothing to the team.
the WP are all out fo whack
yes its pubs. Its where people play to hit the cap. |

I can agree that the WP are all screwed up. I mean heck only 1 person gets rewarded for an assist even when 5 ppl are shooting the same person. |

I am a logi about 75% of the time and you are correct logi is easy street for WP farming. I had a guy pick me up five times the other day while under fire. He was watching me get gunned downed and would run out and revive me and then run back. I didn't have time to terminate my clone. WP does need a rethink and all actions shouldn't reward WP. |
