They aren't "taking" SP from you. You aren't magically entitled to that SP just because it's been announced that the extra SP is on offer for those players who can meet the requirements to earn it.
From the sound of things, you don't even need to play a match, you just have to sign in. If you have to be away from your PS3 for some reason (staying in another home, for example), you miss out on a bonus. Big deal. Next time you're on, you get that bonus. This isn't a problem. It's an EXTRA bonus on top of what you're earning. You're not LOSING anything by not getting it.
If I have a huge bag of candy and share some with my girlfriend one night, then share the remainder with both her and a couple of our friends the following night, we never "stole" candy from those friends on the night when it was just the two of us. This situation is no different, except that (hopefully) nobody here is dating their PS3 or an unfinished FPS.

Look. It's pretty simple--people have always been rewarded for playing. CCP wants people to play. People who play more often are more likely to also give CCP money.
Ergo, reward people logging on more often. If you miss a few days, well, that sucks, but it's not some sort of devastating move on CCP's part! *IF* you are comparing yourself to some fictional person who has been logging on every day when you haven't, and *IF* that FP is whaling on your sorry butt because they wound up with 30k more SP than you....

And this comes from a guy who's ratios are not great, and who misses the occasional day (but not often).
This just...isn't...a...big...deal.
Quit arguing about this and come and fight me! (er. as soon as I get off work. And log on, hopefully before the reset ) |
