This is what I keep telling people. Once aiming is fixed, the assault rifles will be king again. I use a mass driver now because its the only thing I can do damage with. If I was able to aim properly, I'd probably use my scrambler rifle instead and rip shields off all of the Caldari Logis... |

Yeah... when the aiming works the SCR is going to become very tempting to me...also the SCR pistol.. and the sniper gun... and the Laser Gun....in fact... the aim fixes will create a nice diversity of weapons... not the AR514 that some people fears so much. |

I hate explosive fests, when blues and reds collide__MD explosion and grenade explosions then add AR sound. Not liking the gameplay at all. The thing I hate the most about the MD is the lack of feedback damage at 1,2,3m distance. It's an explosive weapon that shouldn't be used in CQC unless you want to kill yourself. A gal med frame dealt 300+ damage at 2m, his shield was at 84 and armor at 400. He escaped unscathed and I died.
We all know the MD is such a f.cked up weapon atm, it's annoying and way too easy. It's a grenade launcher, no one likes grenade launchers in FPSs. Fix is needed soon,
Same goes for the FG that at 1m distance I get instakilled and the damn guy walks away safely. You just shot a heavy energetic round at your feet and you aren't hurt?
Same goes for grenades at CQC, when in real life will you throw a grenade so close to your face and not be hurt if not die. Where is the skill? Where is the strategy? Where is cover? We are hungry for a good game. |

FG splash is very tight, killing with a FG in CQC is fairly hard. You'd have to give them more splash which is certainly the wrong direction. |

Get out of here, Assault FG splash is the same as the Breach, doing way more damage than the Breach, and unlike the Breach, will one-shot anyone with a Direct hit. Hell the Assault FG is out-DPSing an Assault MD just by splash damage alone, and it's a much better weapon than the Assault MD in CQC since, unlike the standard, you will die to splash often in CQC. |

MDs can barely defend themselves point blank and for the most part they'll either end up killing themselves or damage themselves. Either way it works 90% of the time. Saying something and doing something are two diffrernt things...that massdriver user will jump around fire rounds at your feet while you struggle to get your pea shooter to connect. Go into your next pub match and see if those high end corps are using mass dirvers WITH a scout suit. |

Yeah..... what he says would make sense if you took a firing row of mercs each with a different weapon and had them shoot at one stationary target starting at the same time. Sure..... So sure, shot for shot, RoF for RoF, the mass driver might "technically" take the longest, but it has by far the most consistent "kill time" out of all the other weapons and that is because it requires minimal aim to make it do damage. Honestly.... in my opinion. Mass drivers should be all about area suppression. Faster rate of fire, bigger splash radius, But MUCH lower damage. As it stands right now, it only takes about five mass driver rounds to kill my proto logistics suit, and sure that might be "a lot" to some people, but when you think about it..... shooting five rounds into the ground really isn't that difficult. |

why would you up the splash damage? The splash damage should be tight, but have a high damage impact if it does hit something. The arc and travel time should also be reduced with this thing. Clip size should be increased to Two or Three based on how severe the reduction to the arc/travel time would be. And then! you would have a functioning plasma launcher that's actually semi-decent at killing vehicles. |

Within a minute I was reminded of why It seems like a chore, than a game. MD's It takes too long to level up to get the duvolle, Brand new players to the game probably see this same **** and move on. I cant tell you how many people I have talked into this game that have left. Look at the server numbers people. They don' seem to be going up do they? Lets keep it real.
