CCP never updated EULA - it's still the beta version. Exploiting won't get you banned from anywhere I could find.

-You may not submit any content to any chat room or other public forum within the Game that is harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, libellous or defamatory, encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liabilities, or is unlawful in any other way, including without limitation the submission of content that infringes on a third-partyGÇÖs intellectual property rights.

Does this mean CCP bans for 3rd party turbo controllers? Not right now, but the EULA informs us that they can. Infact, there is a clause that basically reads "we can delete/ban your **** anytime we feel like it" but in both cases, CCP doesn't exercise this unless necessary because word would spread and dust really would be a dead game.

Bottom line is the melee "glitch" is situational at best and doesn't effect the game on a large enough scale to warrant banning. But I guess since it's so important to the mighty ~EON EMPIRE~ CCP should totally drop everything right now to ban a handful of people shitting in your space sand castles. I sure hope they don't so I can point and laugh at your impotent rage posts about it though.

They cannot afford NOT to ban someone. The people remaining here are still talking about Dust 514's potential and they still have hope for this game. If CCP does nothing about this exploit that is ruining other peoples games then they are shooting themselves in the foot. They are taking away what little faith people have in this company.

this is not a "passive" glitch or bug like the armor rep on HAV's. This is a glitch that's being repeated to create an exploit. Created "actively" to seemingly OHK people.

Context is important here. It's never described as an exploit if a sniper finds the best high ground, despote the fact that their actions perfectly fit the definition you've shared here. I'd be willing to bet that there are more definitions than this one given in the source you have cited.

When something is called an exploit in the context of a video game, it means the resource being exploited is either an unintended consequence of game mechanics, or a malfunction in those mechanics. Eploiting the latter of those two is enough to be considered a cheat.
