happens with Proximity mines too.
Yeah i use them.
Yes they suck. But still having to go up to 3 times to the supply depo to put up 4 of them is insane. |

yes please, I've been killed unfairly because they decided to fizzle at the wrong time! Also can we up the radius for adv level explosives, Noob grenades get one, we should too. |

Hope CCP fixes the glitch where REs and proxy mines sometimes fizzle out of existence when you deploy them on flat unchanging terrain. |

Not just RE's and Proxies! When Uplinks do the same there is no restocking them!
But I believe 1.4 is bringing in a reimbursement fix that puts the item back into your inventory when it disappears like that. |

Go to Supply Depot Select change fitting Choose the fitting you are using Instantly get full ammo/equipment/etc
As to the OP, 1.4 will help make equipment almost always deploy if it's placed wrong side up, on a slant/hill, or whatever.
Just wait :) |

THIS. Also, they need to make proxi mines actually detonate when something rolls over them. The other day, I tried setting the stupid things up in a line, trying to nab a lav with them. I had 3 or 4 separate incidents where at least 1 lav would roll over them, trying to kill me. Nothing happened. Some of them were moving damn slow, too. |

Proxies seem to suffer more from disappearing than REs do, as far as I have seen. |

With my limited experience with proxies during 1.3 I hated them, I tried putting them down in patterns I wanted a close enough fit so that if a vehicle ran over them, they would die. Instead I constantly had them just going poof, even the ones I had laid down if I got a new proxy to close I think, it took me 3 runs to the supply depo just to get down 4 proxies. After I had got them down, even when an LAV ran right over all four only two went off. Of course the vehicle drove away still alive just to make matters worse, if one more proxy had gone off like it should, I would have got the kill.
In regards to R/E I've mostly been at the receiving end of these, I think they should have a 10m ban away from all objectives until they fix the detection issues related to them. This also includes hit detection as I have been over a R/E before shooting it when it then went off because the hit detection was not doing the proper job. Why do I say 10m away from objectives? 1. It is to easy to throw it to a place where a player can not get to it. 2. The R/E can be deployed way to fast, especially compared with how powerful it is. I can't kill a heavy from full health with a gernade, name any gernade I can do this with. 3. R/E's should have a range min before they are allowed by the user to explode or be used at all as a safety precaution and so they can't just run up to an obj and suicide bomb the obj or a person. About their detection on the ground for being able to stick and land, yeah it does need some help, but it is not nearly as devastating as what happen with the uplinks. |

Always flux a objective, an they don't deploy fast, they have been mega nerfed on deployment since July , and also all r/e had the blast radius knocked to 5 m even proto, it's a bomb not a grenade, so if someone is dumb enough to charge in a room without fluxing the entrance or follow a scout around corners an down hallways then they should die.
As a scout it's my heavy killer, one spray from a hmg kills us so laying traps an actually thinking instead of spraying an praying deserves a kill. We have to think to kill while every one else can just shoot or ohk my proto with a grenade that has a bigger radius , while they stand next to a hive an toss 9 grenades an pop md rounds so I would say a ohk with a remote is fair |
