In regards to R/E I've mostly been at the receiving end of these, I think they should have a 10m ban away from all objectives until they fix the detection issues related to them. This also includes hit detection as I have been over a R/E before shooting it when it then went off because the hit detection was not doing the proper job. Why do I say 10m away from objectives? 1. It is to easy to throw it to a place where a player can not get to it. 2. The R/E can be deployed way to fast, especially compared with how powerful it is. I can't kill a heavy from full health with a gernade, name any gernade I can do this with. 3. R/E's should have a range min before they are allowed by the user to explode or be used at all as a safety precaution and so they can't just run up to an obj and suicide bomb the obj or a person. About their detection on the ground for being able to stick and land, yeah it does need some help, but it is not nearly as devastating as what happen with the uplinks. Always flux a objective, an they don't deploy fast, they have been mega nerfed on deployment since July , and also all r/e had the blast radius knocked to 5 m even proto, it's a bomb not a grenade, so if someone is dumb enough to charge in a room without fluxing the entrance or follow a scout around corners an down hallways then they should die.
As a scout it's my heavy killer, one spray from a hmg kills us so laying traps an actually thinking instead of spraying an praying deserves a kill. We have to think to kill while every one else can just shoot or ohk my proto with a grenade that has a bigger radius , while they stand next to a hive an toss 9 grenades an pop md rounds so I would say a ohk with a remote is fair |
