Why do ppl talk about Destiny so much in coparison to Dust? I thought Destiny is some story campaign FPS that will have some Co-Op token online component. It's graphically far superior to Dust but hardly a worthwhile comparison.

Well COD has no vehicles

ADHD kids and infantry which cant deal with vehicles will all **** off, im fine with it

What we need to do is all go onto CoD and Thukker their game up as a retaliation, Lets turn it into Call of Campers

The issue is not trying to drive ALL of them out so the only people left are the kind of people who populate MechWarrior Online, and are all massive neckbeards with bad ideas.

Most of the whiny CoD Bois will leave and we'll mostly have the hardcore vets and niche weapon users who want true balance in Dust- not AR 514. I honestly can't wait. Only a few more months, guys, and we can have our game back.

3. why do ppl always assume ppl play cod? yall realise that one statement makes yall look ignorant as ****. Cod ppl wont touch dust at all, neither will bf players. U think ppl that like cod and bf actually ON dust atm for MONTHS/YEAR? no they already left ages ago buddy. Notice that player count goin from 9K to 4K now? ya thats all the ppl that tried DUST and realised it was subpar and left to play smoother better games not beta test a released game.

The quicker ppl like u get ur heads out ur asses and realise that dust is in a very very bad situation atm the quicker CCP can see that and attempt to salvage the game.

This game is not attracting new players, its not retaining players and as time passes its only gonna keep losing players if it keeps on goin on at this fail rate with **** up after **** up by CCP.

FPS games arent EVE, this is a console game for console crowd and console crowd isnt the PC/EVE crowd that will stick around playin a bad game in the HOPES that one day it will get good and console players dont also usually return to games they moved on from. So that batch of 4-5K ppl ccp lost prob wont see them back

Why do u think CCP isnt marketing DUST with commercials etc? because doin that now will only HURT the game more.
Time for yall to srsly wake up and stop snortin that CCP crack cuz it will only lead to extreme disappointment later on when ur fanboi living in a bubble attitudes get popped by increasingly lowering numbers.

There are some positives that can work in CCP favour. CCP does, unlike other devs, hav a 2nd chance to redo and relaunch DUST on PS4 and market it so we'll see how it plays out but too many "YES Men" on these forums that just take w/e CCP tosses at them and praises it for being the greatest thing ever.

You forgot a part, and besides what you don't realize is that the CoD fans and stuff have already left. The people that are leaving now have a different name. It's called "Your Playerbase"

I think there's an awful lot of peeps who pop back in to DUST every couple of months or so just to see how things are going. If the next two patches do their job, some small percentage of those peeps will stay.

I popped back in yesterday to see how things were going, 10 (yes 10) AFKers on my team and 3 redline campers leaving 3 of us facing a Murder taxi, a Forge sniper on a roof and half a dozen protobears .... so ... yeah.

lol. The truth is you cant fight with an AR.

Just keep spending money on my game and you can lolplay all you want. You can call your style "niche" all you want. Everyone knows its clown spam

But if you want to hate on it because you can't handle it....

Then I have only this to say...
Eat **** loser.

Take any and EVERY FPS ever made to date, and compare it to CoD.
And you will proabably, if you don't let your ****** mentality get in the way,
Realize that CoD has more depth, better controls, better maps, more players, more weapons, more options than ALL OF THEM!

What does Counter Strike have that CoD doesn't?
What does Wolfenstein have that CoD doesn't?
What does Halo have that CoD doesn't?
What do any of them have?

Whatever you may come up with, CoD has done it... and did it better.

Let's look at what other FPS's have....

Stupid playlists that mix slayer gametypes into each and every playlist making every playlist a team slayer playlist?
Or maybe playlist called Action Sack, which the community tries to explain is a perfect substitute for server browsers and custom gaming?

I'm actually glad that Dust is failing. Because I want it to send a message to other devs on what not to do.
Which is pretty much everything.

The oversized maps
The amount of vehicles
The amount of time it takes to kill
The amount of teamwork required to enjoy yourself

Everything about this game is a fail.

Because lets be honest. An FPS that requires you to have to schedule beforehand to get your "Friends" online, so that you can finally play and actually enjoy it..... is a fail.
Sometimes you have to think about the individual.
This is why CoD is great, because it allows you to enjoy yourself as an individual and as a member of a team.

Dust fails because it forgot about the individual.

And you cannot forgot about the individual when you take in the context of what you are trying to make.

Just about the same as the one before it. bf5 is gonna be like bf4. And so on into infinity. Nothing to get terribly excited about unless bf is your cup of tea in general. Ppl play Dust because it promised to be something different than bf and cod. Unfortunately so far it mostly fell on its face because of poor execution.
