I have to agree. I personally like an assault rifle on a heavy dropsuit, with an SMG sidearm. It works wonders. It's like my heavy assault dropsuit. |

Gek, i always roll with ar in all shooters, the duv (i cant spell it) is nicer but i dont think its worth the extra cpu etc
2nd would have gone to the flaylock pre-nerf, but it seems a bit pants now, so 2nd would be smg, which is a actual beast at adv and higher
3rd, gota love them proto swarms (prof + 2 and higher) for easy mode anti tank |

I roll with weapons with the highest ROF. F2000 in BF3, Skorpion EVO COD:BO2, PM63 COD:BO, BL Shredder SMG, and so on. |

I just wish CCP would change the sound the gun makes when it fires. Sounds a bit like bouncing a rubber ball off a metal dumpster.

I'm with you on the plasma cannon. I specced that to basic just for the hell of it and managed to go 10/4 once, killing two tanks (no small task), infantry, and a logi lav (RESPECT). The thing is a real gamble though. Sometimes you fire and it doesnt shoot the plasma. Sometimes is doesnt shoot the plasma and it costs some ammo. Sometimes it shoots the plasma but doesnt cost ammo and you dont need to reload. On a rare occasion it'll work as intended. The fun is in the risk! |

SMGs perform well, and tear apart those AR scrubs in CQC, while still looking cool

I did run a dual shield/armor tank for a long time, I am a plate mail dwarf in real life and want to feel protected.

I run a scout - I like it when people are just out of SMG range and then I switch weapons - their last thoughts must be 'WTF...'
Shotgun kills are very satisfying too...but kinda for the same reason Plasma Cannons are...
Overall then - Semi-Auto SCR - great for sneak attacks at long(er) ranges and good for support/assists even when without a charge. |

While not the most effective weapon, the MD is hands down the most enjoyable to use.
Mid to long range shots require the same mental calculations as a QB throwing the perfect pass to where the receiver will be when the slow arcing throw reaches its destination. It's just as satisfying when the red dot "catches" my throw and jumps up in the air to celebrate a perfect pass.
Add the "poot" of the firing round, the beautiful smokey arc, and the satisfying explosion and you have a weapon I could just stand and fire all day.
It's like killing people with a fireworks cannon. |

My gravitation pull also attracts grenades. Lots of grenades.

Most efficient weapon however, triple dmg mod duvolle seems to get it done most of the times. I got my first hate mail over killing someone with the PLC. That's ridiculous, really!?
Yeah, he didn't like that I killed him point blank in the chest.
Only thing I 'hated' about the hate mail, was the idiot thinking that I killed him with a Mass Driver.

-Forge Gun (Earns me an additional 1k wp per match from vehicles/turrets/etc)

I'll say Mass Driver because right placed (high-position) you can cover a position alone in CB.
Because it's the perfect weapon for the ones who loooooves flux :p
And finally because my favourite (from FAR) second weapon is Scrambler pistol which is just PERFECT to execute enemies with an perfect headshot or to cut don the shield with 2-3 shots.
So i'll say :
- Scrambler pistol (Viziam) / Mastery 3
- Mass Driver (Freedom) / Mastery 4
- Nova Knives Zn-28 (Alt character)
The plasma cannon is the worst weapon EVER in this game.
It takes so long to shoot so long for the shoot to come at the ennemie you have only one shot so if they're two you're dead.
Long to reload.
Low damage against vehicules useless against armor and too slow for killing a shield vehiculs.
Too low range so he just have to get away from 50m and it's over.
Ok it's a weapon can one shot but seriously it takes too long and have low range.....
With my C-7 Flux i do better damage to shield and with Mass Driver better damages to Armor so fuckin useless ......
