...Until you realise the Core Focused Repair Tool has a punishing fitting cost, which limits the logibro's ability to tank him/herself (especially if we're throwing in the triage hives too).
Then add the fact that flux grenades are going to be wiping out those hives as well as the logibro's shields. Then add the fact that core locus nades and MDs are going to eradicate the logibro first, leaving the heavy a fat chicken ready to be consumed.
The thread about changes to armour plates isn't a clarion call to all armour tankers to leave the MCC and return to battle. It's an early warning to shield/hybrid tankers to prepare their flux + MD combos. |

  Oh damn it's math time
  Heavy Base EHP (with skills):1012
  Shields 506 Armor 506
Now we have a sentinel with 4 LOWS and 1 HIGH
  4 COMPLEX PLATES*148.5=594
  1 COMPLEX SHIELD EXTENDER 72.6
  MODS=666.6+ EHP 1012= 1678
  WHICH MEANS ~1700
  Awkward how math is sometimes.

it would still be a beast though..... Im sure there will be stacking penalties. I feel like on this one CCP went all out to see how Armour tanking would develop with the current stats on plates and what not. See if movement speed is what we need or simply EHP buffs. Now we Armour tankers have the potential to have the high EHP staying power we should have had last build, while having 600+ EHP may sound daunting you have to remember there are still a lot of explosives weapons users in the game and Grenades still deal 500 Damage straight up to us, not to mention the 35% bonus to explosive weaponry against armour...... |

I did not notice the rough approximation symbol, which prevents your statement from being false. So i apologize on that note.
Equipping all those mods will give you 11 PG leftover for a weapon, sidearm, and grenade. That's not a lot of breathing room, even with Fitting Optimization skills.
Adding on the 20% movement speed reduction, and you are a slow moving wall that dishes out marginal damage.
You might want to reconsider this fitting. |

Sadly, i do not believe it, but, just give it a look on a positive perspective, (if you armor tank, of course), While their become even more heavier and harder to kill, so do we, don't you think?. |

Well, 2/3 (of 1 point) more than the mark of the beast. So we're just a little better.
Ahh, 666 (the Number of the Beast).
But 2/3 of 1 point should be rounded up. Therefore 666.6 should be rounded to 667 (the Neighbor of the Beast).

Please try and use math and common sense at least for sh!ts and giggles now and then. Third grade math problem for you: how many DIRECT MD hits does it take to take out 1700 HP and how long will this take the MD user with the current MD ROF?
But then again math is UP. Why use math when you can use a river of tears to win. |

Did I sayd useless? I meant challenging, and now with the modifications, we all armor tankers will raise from the UP. new heavies will be able to tank forges and rail turrets... nice can we get the SL to lock on to them now? Sadly, i do not believe it, but, just give it a look on a positive perspective, (if you armor tank, of course), While their become even more heavier and harder to kill, so do we, don't you think?. Ladwar isn't jerking your leg. Without mods or proficiency skills even Standard Forge Guns sit under 1.4k damage (Assault and Base-line). The example suit on page one would shave off over 600 damage with the minus ten percent penalty. For simplicity say 800 goes to armor, the ten percent damage bonus still leaves one hundred plus armor left.
Proto (and all breach) will still OHK it. |
