Rather than trying to put together a Remote Shield Transfer tool that works like the armor one, why not make a tool that locks on and then delivers a zap to the targeted suit's shields, causing them to start their recharge instantly?
This way the recharge rate is still dependent upon the suit, but you also now have tools for supporting shield tankers as a Logistics player. |

I think this should be implented to the current repair tool, as to not possibly create a bigger separation between armor and shields, and segregate logistics depending on what rep tool they are carrying. |

Make it like a rep tool but shoots blue electricity so it "boosts the electrical output of the suit, and in turn boosts the shields of the target" then I will by a ton of these :p
Ps.....+1
EDIT: make it add (for lack of a better example) 100-200 shield to the target.....wait....then it will just be callogi all over again....never mind |

Anything that makes shields even more superior than it already is would be counterproductive. Armor vs shields is so unbalanced, nothing like this should even be thought about creating as of yet. Eventually? Yes, but lets put it on the self for a while longer. |

As well, we can't keep thinking about these things based on the presumption that they aren't going to change anything in relation to Armor vs Shield.
Let's look beyond right now, please. |

I see what you mean - perhaps it would benefit even the armor rep to include this feature. And if possible maybe introduce secondary firing capabilities to do so.
Does this maybe sound like a better idea for kick starting the shield regen process? |

MAking it start the regen process while repping armor benefits both shield and armor tanks. Regardless of the balance of shields vs armor, this proposal benefits both equally, as it helps both get back to full strength faster. |

I'd honestly prefer the idea of keeping the tools separate, but I guess the idea might have merit. |

Shields really are better than armor currently, but Caldari running with an armor rep makes no sense. At least this way, it's justified that they would have logi at all. Imagine how weird it would be for Gallente to have a shield rep. |

It also enhances the value of the Logistics suits having additional slots, and further differentiates them from Assault suits. |
