Rather than trying to put together a Remote Shield Transfer tool that works like the armor one, why not make a tool that locks on and then delivers a zap to the targeted suit's shields, causing them to start their recharge instantly?
This way the recharge rate is still dependent upon the suit, but you also now have tools for supporting shield tankers as a Logistics player. |

Tiffany NE Shephard wrote:Shield regulators - passive - better than a zap. Skill up brother. But you still have a delay, and the current way the stun delay works is not intended, as it only counts the first round, so you can then start recharge-tanking the following rounds once the delay is up.
As well, we can't keep thinking about these things based on the presumption that they aren't going to change anything in relation to Armor vs Shield.
Let's look beyond right now, please. |

Regardless of the balance of shields vs armor, this proposal benefits both equally, as it helps both get back to full strength faster. I'd honestly prefer the idea of keeping the tools separate, but I guess the idea might have merit. |

Shields really are better than armor currently, but Caldari running with an armor rep makes no sense. At least this way, it's justified that they would have logi at all. Imagine how weird it would be for Gallente to have a shield rep. Exactly. It also enhances the value of the Logistics suits having additional slots, and further differentiates them from Assault suits. |
