to handle those logi lavs....
u know the one u have to press A button to kill with....
oh they also should stick to stuff too!

The thing is , R.E. are for AREA denial.
PE are the ones designed to take care of vehicles. I do agree thou that they should be able to stick to stuff XD.
''Myself i play a proto forge gun heavy It baffles me that in 1 shot i can take out poorly equipped tank but a LLAV 1 is harder to hit and 2 can take much more of a beating. Not sure how many shots it takes since i am nearly never able to be sure if i hit direct on or hit with splash since they are nearly never stopped.''
I play Breach FG with a Damage mod.(Basic Breach) it hits PRETTY damn hard and usually a basic tank is taken care of with 1 shot and one Sleek AV grenade (yeah, i use that crap). a LLAV i hit it with the breach and Barely survives, but by the time i throw the Sleek AV they already have -+ their shields up again or are already half way back to their spawn area...
On other notes i also use ADV Forge gun. And how is it possible a LLAV to survive 2 DIRECT HITS and 1 AV grenade (sleek). Thats, about 3400 Damage if not more? I dont understand this game sometimes... |

There is a guy I play with, Xhedos Prime, who was a pilot that skilled out just recently. At one point he built an LLAV with 75% damage resistance. You wouldn't believe the amount of AV we could take. When things start to become a bit too hairy, just run to the back lines and rep up a brief time, and head back to the front lines. I don't remember the exact ehp but it could take a serious beating.
He is getting back into vehicles and just spec'd into the LLAV. He is sitting around 50% reduction and near 3k shields. Boss Hog is back and is an excellent vehicle hunter. |

I'm going to disagree with you a bit. LLAV's are the new lav menace, because they have enormous speed and defense. Really, slap a large turret on there and it's like a hav with rocket boosters. Other lavs, not really a problem. I see a yellow lav, it takes 5 or six people to take it out if it gets stuck. IF IT GETS STUCK! The only other possibility would be if everyone plastered a road with bombs and then lured it down that road. (I kind of want to see that, now)
DS, I'm hesitant to do anything to those. They are still a pain in the ass to kill. |

Where can I get what you got? Cuz it must be really good stuff.
I agree on dropships.
The problem isn't scrub LAVs, it is the unkillable nature of LLAVs. I propose that all AV get a 200% damage buff against LLAVs, since they are supposed to be weak logistics healer vehicles. What's wrong with buffing HAVs? The only thing that even lets them survive right now is those bugged Armor Repairer stats. I Miss my Big Game.....

I still think that a deployable tank trap is equipment that we should be able to take on the field. You could throw em out where you need and any vehicle that tries to run them over gets hung up or rolled if they hit it at full speed. That way they would have to be shot or destroyed somehow before you could go blazing through. Either way the murder taxi would have to slow down to deal with the equipment or not go near the area.
Perhaps the portable units I speak of only work on LAV's and tanks can roll up on them and crush a path through. Or tanks simply have the firepower to blast them to smithereens. |

This is a difficult question, with problems on both sides that need to be addressed. the vehicle using players hate the fact that they can lose their expensive vehicles to a single proto av geared up dropsuit. And ground troops are tired of being mowed down by near invincible logi lavs, or getting blasted by tanks on ambush. In all honesty everyone wants to kill more and die less, so its hard to find a middle ground thats fair for all players. If i was a tanker, i could understand the frustration of losing millions of isk to proto swarms or forge gunners, so i agree with an base hp buff , as long as av weaponry doesn't get nerfed. i find the damage that av weaponry does to be more than fair, since it leaves you vulnerable to enemy infantry. This game relies on good teamwork, a tank shouldnt be able to just walk into the middle of a map unopposed. play it smart , stop deploying tanks into a squad of swarm launchers. DOES your tank feel weak? try being on the other side of the field when the enemy deploys 3+ tanks on ambush. Dropships need alot more hp , except for the assault , many of the dropships seem to be defenseless in low altitudes especially against forge guns. As a ground troop, i love shooting me some dropships, but i do agree that its unfair. especially when the purpose of dropships in the first place was to provide a quick way to transport a squad into the battlefield. I rarely see this happen, its too risky, a squad can be shot down in a matter of seconds. The only use i now see for dropships, is to transport snipers on top of really high towers or buildings -_- Last but not least LAVS you either love them or hate them. in my case, i love hate then. i hate getting blindsided by a lav out of nowhere( now i simply avoid any roads or look both ways before crossing). and i love jumping into one and mowing down infantry ( revenge is so sweet) while i do find " murder taxing to be shameful, and unskillful, and deserving of no respect, i too am guilty of doing it every once in a while when im bored or getting revenge on someone who ran me over. my solution to this is simple, 1.) fix the logilav . With enough sp invested on it , its near invincible. it makes all other lavs look like meals on wheels. 2 to 3 well placed av grenades should be able to take out lavs, its fair , that is what they are designed for. 2.) in order to stop murder taxing, make it harder to murder taxi or less beneficial. you could increase the power and accuracy of its turrets making its usage more desirable over running people over. Also buff av explosives to detonate on contact, in order to discourage murder taxing. 3) give the troops a fighting chance. this may sound a little extreme but what if infantry had some sort of impact dampener thingie that could help them survive high altitude drops or lav hits??? you should be able to activate it once a every half minute while facing an lav directly, it nullifies any other movement, and must be timed within a 3 second window. it sends you flying back, no damage done to either party. it just decreases the killing power of the murder taxis
if you took the time read my little rant i appreciate it, i just typed in my ideas off the top of my head so pardon me for my bad grammar and spelling. please leave a comment if you have other ideas or if you disagree or agree. please be constructive with your feedback, dont just tell me to eat a bowl of nails cuz i may see you out on the field and there is a 90% that im better than you :) |

Make Proximity mines the monstrous AV they are supposed to be: STD: 1800 damage (only 100 more than a STD Packed AV) ADV: 2000 damage PROTO: 2250
And make them Activate IMMEDIATLY after a Vehicle passes over them.
And watch the murder taxi craze end.... I don't know why proxi mines don't do more damage, they are only really used for vehicles (even though I found out they work for people, weeeeee!) like really how does a motion sensor take up half of the room for the explosives where a detonator doesn't? I should use mines more....that would be alot of fun lol |
