Maybe I am getting shot at, maybe I just died with you?

I don't always logi, but most of the time I do. I can't believe some of the **** I hear from people sometimes, as if I'm their own personal revive servant. If you die, apparently it is your fault first not mine ( i can sustain you a bit from instant death, but you made the engagement) if I can I will revive you , or I will fall over dead beside you. or even begin shooting at the enemy trying to save my own ass as I retreat.. Don't start bitching in coms logi not doing his job , or where the fk you at with the injector , or why didn't you keep me alive and similar statements. If I got you , be happy I saved you isk.. If I couldn't... don't blame me as the reason your dead or continuing to bleed out.


OP , this is not really all directed at you. Sorry if it seems so, been several logi hate posts lately giving us bad names. We do not make you immortal, CCP does that by allowing you to respawn.

I use the Amarr logi as an assault logi, as is it's intended purpose...
Is that a problem?

I am a logistics and I run around shooting up the place with my squad, or team but never solo. Now you might think this is the Logissault gameplay but its not, whats going to keep you alive longer me helping you kill the enemy or sticking needles and a repair tool up your ass? When you die I pick you up but if you died because 3 people rushed you or because you pulled yourself into a hive of enemeis, you damn well know that I wont waste my time. Also when your armor is down and your running back into battle I will not follow you with a repair tool because I will not let you pull me into your suicide attempt, if my repair tool is out or if you see my bright yellow paintjob and you need a repair just stop moving and shoot me or melee me. People get mad when a logi suit isnt swallowing a ton of bullets just to revive you, people dont realise we have very low HP and pulling out of a bad situation is practically impossible, also a good logi will value his life over yours, because a dead logi is a bad logi.

Definately, a Logi suit running like a solo assault is a bad player, and a bad logi.

In my eyes, Logi and Medic are not equal. The "Logistics" role focus on being a force multiplier on different parts of the battlefield. Maybe you lay proxy mines and REs to protect a letter. Maybe you reinforce the front line with nanohives and repair tools. Maybe you shape the flow of the battlefield with preemptive Uplinks. All of those 'builds' fall under the logistics description, and none of them require the player to abandon all of their gear to do it. If anything, it might require very high powered gear to set up your proxy mines.

The "Medic" role can be filled by anyone with a Nanite injector, Rep tool, or Triage nanohives. It just so happens that the "Medic" is a role that is shared by all suits (excluding heavies) and is another build under the logistic umbrella. But you shouldn't expect a logi player to use their suit in a particular way any more than I should expect you to run an nanite injector on your assault build or a rep tool on your scout.

TL:DR: Logistics is the Umbrella that the "Medic" role falls under. But anyone can be a medic. If you wanna see more of them, just do it.

Dedicated logi, with many many different fits for different occasions.

And i don't need a squad, to fulfil my Team Role.

Not colourblind of everything outside of teal, I rep and resupply and revive democratically.

your reasoned analysis based upon solid scientific principles, observable behavioral patterns and data collation trumps my need to role play ... you win you win.

Uplink's, Nano's and Prox mines are generally what I carry. If I run my proto suit I'll have the needle. But I view keeping you spawning safe with plenty of ammo and not worrying about LAV's as doing more than my fair share.

Don't hate the logi for not reviving you, not all logis are medics, some are demolitions, some are pilots/drivers, some snipe (like myself) others......they give you ammo. Logis are meant for the "technical" part of a squad/team, this doesn't necessarily mean reviving you every time you die. Yes sometimes a logi doesn't heal you even though he (or she) is right beside you. But have some faith!!!! The logis get shot at just as much as the frontline warriors do, so if you go down in a firefight, don't freak out because you weren't revived right away, wait a few seconds because the logi might be clearing out the reds so that he can revive you!!!!

My steps I perform when I logi:

1. If I see an enemy into armor I mass drive him
2. Pick up dead greens
3. Rep green Gallente/Ammar
4. Rep blue Gallente/Ammar
5. Pick up dead blues
6. Rep green everything else
7. Rep blue everything else
8. Drop hives/uplinks
9. Kill ****

logi /= medic

logi = dude who uses equipment

Well you can not really say if its a logi running by maybe its just someone with the medic starterkit (there is a needle inside) or just an assault that wants to get 60 points from time to time. The symbol does not mark logis but it does mark anyone with a needle...

I run Logi 60 to 70% percent but I have also specialized fittings that can not revive or resuply. These fittings are there to provide tactical advantages by providing uplinks and remote explosives.

One thing that makes reviving a hard job is limbo dance bug the delay on the revive is horribly and I often need to push circle like crazy just to put my needle in a fallen comrade. I cant say how often the poor fellas dies because of this stupid bug.

So you can see there some reasons why some "Logis" may pass by instead of reviving you.

Maybe some of us Minmatars don't like being treated like we're supposed to be your slaves.
