Ok so I skilled into it last night to see what the fuss was about. IMO it's like the flaylock was pre nerf except its a light weapon not a sidearm, I killed fully shielded and armored cats with 3 shots, 4 if they had a good setup..... Overpowere...

I'm running into this issue as well, I used to cap in 2-3 days and switch to an alt and cap him out as well, I haven't even played my alt in 2-3 weeks because I don't even get my main capped, it's just getting a little boring and I love this game ...
