I find skill tree SP multipliers don't make sense and makes skilling more difficult than it needs to be. The disadvantages: a) Upgrades that don't DO anything. It's frustrating to gain a massive amount of SP, sink it in e.g. a lvl 4 dropsuit skil...

I'd also like to see WP per match. That really shows how much mercs contribute to winning each skirmish or domination battle. It's more fair for logis, but also towards suicidal demolition tank hunters, shotgun scouts and stealthy uplink spammers.
