Dark souls isn't about playing with your friends... so I'm not surprised that you think the matchmaking isn't up to par. hide your summon signs better. behind fake walls and down dead end hallways is always a good choice.

I don't remember my first impressions... I equipped heavy damage modifiers on a lot of my suits for about a week though because I thought they were better than light mods. (I'm not now nor have i ever been a heavy)

technically the minmatar get a bonus to nova knives, it does not specify which race's nova knives so it gets a bonus to all races nova knives including the caldari set which is convenient because that is the only race's knives that are available.
