I am curious, how would you, the scout greats fit an Amarrian Scout?
Please try and keep this from becoming a "Amarr scout bonus sucks" thread, I seriously value the great scouts of DUST opinions on how to make the Amarr Scout shine.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

I guess I would go light assault 1 Cardiac regulatar to further take advantage of stamina and recharge the rest plates and extenders plus CR.
Not as fast as other scouts but faster than most Assaults but extremly mobile. Maybe a compact hive to get some reps...I always try to enforce the advantages a suit has... |

I'd probably fit it somewhat similar to one of my future GK.0 fits, 2 complex extenders in the highs, 3 enhanced ferroscales and a complex kincat in the lows and your weapons/grenades and equipment of choice. It would have more EHP than my GK.0 which is a little shy of 600 EHP and can sprint over 9 m/s. So, with the Amarr your probably going to get 640 ish EHP and over 8.5 m/s with that setup.
You could also use regular plates and then stack dmg mods for a little slower but more straight up assault oriented fit. |

That's actually on a Gallente suit, on an Amarr (according to protofits) that would be 3000 stamina with 460 regen/s

Aisha. Seriously. Come on. It's getting embarrassing. We see what you're getting at. Fit it however you want to play. Fit it to compensate for it's weaknesses, ie more kincats, armor rep, and armor modules (because all scouts die fast), fit it to enhance it's strengths, ie enhance what you have naturally as a scout and what strengthens the bonus you have.
You can fit it however you want, Aisha. Okay? If you are good at playing the scout, and your gun game ain't too bad, you can fit it however you want. It's up to the player's potential and what they want to equip.

With Amarr Scout 5 and running a Scout A/1 for cost efficiency I'd consider this:
http://www.protofits.com/fittings/shared/135/1069
Balanced between e-war, durability, recovery and dealing damage. New cloak because it's new and uplinks to lead the way or to get back into the fight.

Although it would be able to withstand more damange in true CQC than what I could take.

cardio ferroscale/kin kat/damp (STD plate if losing a little speed doesn't bother you) armor rep/reactive plate (armor rep to maintain speed, reactive plate for extra tank) }
amarr scout is imo a light assault more than a scout. don't be afraid to add a little tank to it. a niche angle you could run would be a long range hacker using it's endless stamina to get from objective to objective hacking all the while. it won't be as fast as the minmatar but it's stamina means that it can get places faster than the minmatar scout could.
the amarr scout has potential and I see a number of unique fittings that it could use with some success, it doesn't fit my playstyle though so I'll be sticking with the gal scout.

Not going to claim to be a scout great, but I have been exclusively scout for a year, so I can say I have experience in fitting scouts out
Though until I have some experience in the new dynamic that is 1.8 it is hard to say what will work.
For CQC the Amarr scout will be pretty solid with a SG, using Ferro and Rep, not sure if I will need to fit a Card or not that will come with some experimenting.
The other fitting I am looking at (and will likely be the one I use the most) will be the versatility of the ScR and ScP, able to apply alpha damage as a 'sniper', and CQC effectiveness this will be an urban beast, but have versatility to adapt to most situations.

I love the idea of EWAR and being able to see you without you seeing me. I also enjoy using DMR's but I have come to realize that the ScR is not exactly a viable weapon on a scout suit (overheat and you're f*****).
I have level V in all of the scout skills: dampening, range, enhancement.
I will likely put some precision enhancers in the highs, assault RR for the main weapon, cloak and AS, an enhanced plate or CPX Ferroscale, a CPX Range Extender, CPX Armor Rep, and a CPX Profile Dampener.

Overheat is brutal on a scout, but avoidable. No you can't spam the trigger like an Amarr Assault can, but since you should not be engaged toe to toe this is less of a necessity. Having had success just monitoring the shots and switching out to sidearm when needed you increase your engagement ability. Also when they don't know you are around you can fade out before they find you. Positioning is key.

I love the 4 EQ on the Logi, and it will still be an OP suit until/unless they reduce the number of slots it has, but at the same time it would be awesome to have all 4 scouts at level 5

You have the movement bonus so no need for biotics. Therefore, armor like a good little Amarr or more of the other stuff like scanner mods and dampeners.
High:
Dmg mods
Lows:
1 or 2 Dampener 2 or 3 Reactive plates Range scanner mod Hacking mod
2 Magsecs
Cloak REs or links
The beauty of the Amarr scout is getting over to key areas and dropping links quickly while being able to take some hits with armor mods.
Constant link placement can be a force multiplier and something I have tried to practice on a Gal scout. Moving links as the battle flows comes in handy.
Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!

400eHP on a Sprint suit with 5 uplinks that spawn in at 8 seconds. Almost the same speed as my Gallente runner. I think this is a pretty sweet build. So tight on PG but lots of CPU to spare. That's good for those "scout" mods that have 0 PG.
