After skilling up to lvl1 to use non-militia stuff that I pay ISK for, which requires training and presumably by definition I have been trained to use effectively why are the stats pretty much exactly the same as militia stuff? Does not make sense...

I agree, especially for crap players like me, I've tried to just keep blasting away with my weapon and trying to avoid being killed. It's really hard to waste all my ammo before dieing. It would help keep playing as a team and might even convince ...
