First off this AV nerf benifits People upgradeing into cars and Dropships. Awesome makes these things actually viable option.
The problem is Tanks have became a very Overpowered option now. even a 4 man team will now struggle to overcome a tank. With how it was you could set up a 4 man team 2 being assault rifles 2 being proto swarms and easily deal with a tank. Now well tank has a huge advantage.
I would not mind keeping it this way if you do a little rebalancing on the tanks because of what I previously said drop ships and cars are actually a viable option.
If I was you guys before this big corp war i would nerf shields and armor big time on the upper class tanks so sicas and somas are the only viable option.
People know my past with tanks and how I felt they where well balanced with AVs. But with the nerf they gave them protos do less then advanced swarms before nerf.

I have mixed feelings as well but when I was rampaging in a gunnlogi earlier I noticed they fixed vehicle weak points. I felt like I was invulnerable untill someone got behind me and suddenly my shields are almost gone so I ziped out of there then thought about what just happened. so I would advise anyone who thinks this nerf was way over the top try hitting the rear of the vehicle I still don't know how I feel about it but try it before complaining |

I personally feel the nerfs were WAY too extreme, especially on the Forge since it has already been nerfed to death. When the only variants that can one-off a militia LAV are the prototypes, there is definitely a problem. Also, swarms now do more damage per shot than forge guns. |

You would think that if they added/fixed vehicle 'weakpoints', they'd have the decency to tell us WHERE the points are, or at least saying that there is a bloody weakspot. According to many tank pilots in a post long past, they didn't want weakpoints because it would make coventional arms too effective aganst armor. Although I argued for it and stated that a weak point would be balanced, I can't wait to see scouts murdering tanks with SMGs and/or Mass Drivers because they can't turn fast enough. |

av damage im not an expert on, however the armor debuffs on dropsuits was a bad idea, now your more expensive dropsuit still dies as fast as the standard, with only cool things like extra shield extenders and maybe some biotics to save you.
this evens standards out with everything way to much now |

This is silly. Give smaller vehicles a limited way to avoid getting hit entirely and increase AV damage. |

Play as a team, defend your tank. Form a line, use some tactics to counter the weak spots |

My point was 'CCP should tell us what the kitten they're doing.' not 'OH GOD MAH TANK'.
Beyond that the fact that I don't use a tank and teamwork isn't a skill anyone put points in, I probably won't be defending a tank anytime soon. |
