Having to wait around a full 4-5 seconds, when i could of killed at least 1 enemy in that time, to repair a guy only to get +15 points is not a good incentive. I do it because i love playing my role, and i also do a lot of killing because i love to imagine the faces on assault suit people who see a logi and think they have him in the bag... i just wish i was rewarded a bit more for the former.
I could also rep a partially injured guy, heal him up fully, and get NO points because that allotted amount of time (/the amount of repairing neccisary to achieve points) didnt pass. When i play strictly with clan members, one time a in a successful qsync when we got on the same team, i played my ass off as a logi, i think only one of em died once, and i ended up with garbo skill points. Only a few deaths overall on our team in that entire ambush game i believe. +60 is good for ressing, but i didnt get near enough points to bolster my SP at end of match for the amount of work i did repairing.
Maybe if you made that repair tool +25 for that amount of armour repaired or whatever it currently is set on, and let it distribute AS your repaired someone, That would be ideal, i mostly hate how it comes out as a chunk, but its also lacking in number. +25 would be good.

There already has been a discussion on how the WP for repping seems to be for percentage instead of total AP repaired. If we had a sum of AP totally repaired with rep tools and we get 25 for every i don't know maybe very 300 Ap repaired. |

But it should be distributed and cut up into smaller points for the overtime effect, do you have a link to this thread by any chance? |

Logis def need some love tbh ive tried it and only really did it for my heavies tbh Life is my logibro and as his name suggests he takes pride in being that "lifeline" and the points for Reppin do not do justice tbh ive seen a ton of "triage in the area..." but almost no randoms come to rez u as well
CCP needs to make being a logi a job ppl can earn points in for those that wanna dedicate themselves to it or the game just continues to become Kill Oriented and the better killers keep increasing the SP gap |

CCP definitely needs to toss some love to the non trigger pulling roles if they want ensure their growth. Some of us will tackle those roles without great reward, but that won't lead to enough for a balanced force. If Logistics and pilots have to shoot to skill up they are at an immediate disadvantage to those folks who are applying that SP solely to shooting.
Trigger pullers will ride the SP wave while the rest of us swim like crazy in an attempt to keep our heads above water. |

They need to cut up the points into smaller segments, and base it on armor points and not armor percentage. Something like one point per 5, 10 or 20 units of armor (horrid memory, can't remember average armor of militia suits :L). Plus, maybe Medic Assists a la TF2... er, Logi Assists, for your patient killing someone while being repaired.
Also, shield reppers naow plz. |

Yeah it needs work, I rep armor when its safe but I the incentive is too low. Rarely do I see points for reping armor If I land a shot on anything and someone else kills it I get an assist. Well I assisted many people with armor rep, shouldn't i get an assist for all his kills while repping? or a permanent assist from anyone I rez who goes on the kill others? |

stop trying to revive the persons body where it is....
follow the icon on the map and use the injector there.... at the moment you have to revive the person from where they were killed,,, as opposed to where their body has landed
hope that helps |

pfft noob mistake, trying to revive the actual person everyone knows that logically you work on the spot they were killed not the body itself |

I think it would be great to be able to get an isk bonus for repping and ressing. it's good business practice to share some of the bonus to employees who save the corp alot of money.
that and changeing the frequency that you get points for repping would be great. just from 15 every 3 seconds to 5 points every second. too often do i just top off someones armor for no points. just 5 points would be great.
that and having a read out on the leaderboard for repair and rez counts would be awesome. it kinda stings when i see the readout as 0/3 for k/d but i spent the whole game keeping everyone alive and healthy.
i also think that if i'm repping a heavy and he kills someone getting a 5 or 10 point bonus for a "tank assist" would be great, if only to encourage teamwork. |

Guess what? Remote Repair HAV modules get 65 point per tick! So... Logis should be tanks too, I guess... |

Sometimes a logi trys to heal a scoutsuit and gets no points for 50+ HP of repairing |

Adding my multiplier to this thread, as is it seems to be a set amount of points (a measly 10!) for a certain amount of time invested (feels like 10 seconds). Points per amour recovered, or a shorter span for a shorter profit would be ideal. As is I have no real incentive to heal anyone besides a (read: my) vehicle.
At least allow the player to less efficiently repair themselves with the tool, or triple the points.
Also I like that I'm not the only one with this kind of name so +1 lol. |
