I don't think dust faction standings have any effect beyond the individual player, unlike in eve where the faction standing can aggregate for pilots / corps / alliances.

Trophies would be good, more PSN integration would be better. 'Invite to squad' would be handy. Sent from in game by PSN message with a 'join squad' button that launches the game and places the invitee directly into the squad.
