Head shots do more damage. Charge rifles also do more damage in one shot, but the rate of fire is bad because you have to charge them. The other rifles do less damage, but you can fire off multiple shots almost consecutively.

I used to get TK'ed all the time in MAG. They were not accidents either. My teammates would promptly vote to kick the perp though... I'm not sure what measures CCP will implement to counter assholes like that.

OP, don't expect too much teamwork from the blue dots, you'll only be rewarded with severe disappointment. Try squading with an organized corp and you'll see that the game play is much different.
