i dont like how ccp seems to be focused more on markeplace items when they should be focused more on a new build , but im thinking that they are doing it to earn money because the new buil is gonna be hopefully good im guessing , i dont know i have mixed feelings about all of this |

Those are two seperate people mostly what one guy does with item generation for marketing has little to do the new plasma launcher or myraid of other tools, how hard it is it to create a rules.ini file of an item and populate its properties? Not very hard a 12 year old can do it and make up new items, hell even you can. Just copy paste majority of the item stats page then add the one hidden from normal viewing page detailing sound, model, animation, skin, projectile id's and you're good to go.
What is hard? What the original problem for the removal entails, there is currently no support to two different levels of multipliers thus in order for this to work would require some back end coding. |

How people sit on SP is beyond me. I'm so bad with the skill system because I like so many different playstyles
I play Heavies (HMG, Forge, SMG, Mass Driver, Sniper), Shotgun Scouts (combat medic, uplinks & hives), Logistics Demolitions, and on top of that, I fly Dropships and can drive standard LAVs.
Too. Much. STUFFS
All that with like, 2.5 million SP because I lost an untold amount of SP to the passive SP bug Here's hoping for an effective solution soon. Apparently milking Beta players for useless boosters is more important than getting this stuff out to us. I get that you're a company and need to make profit, and that you can't just snap your fingers and BAM, there's a new build, and that you can't just sit here and hold our hands and tell us it's going to be all right (and that you DO communicate with us on the forums and through IRC for those that use it), lately it just feels like more of the same, and watching you sit here and try to convince me to spend my $$ on a product that is still a long ways off from release....yea, it just puts me off. |

Whatever tbh. CCP has no problems updating the market place with new AUR stuff...but no word on the new weapons and suits... or even the update...funny.
No worries guys, the update is coming soon, but in the mean time enjoy new AUR items!
How about fixing the dmg mods? Been how many months now people complaining about them? Simple stuff like this goes overlooked by CCP, without a peep from them. But we get updated as soon as new AUR stuff is available though! I'll bet they update everyone on when they fix the new Mega ultra super SP booster, so everyone can go out and buy it.

I thought they just make stuff and release it and give us to test. Remember the game sound was messed up for 2 weeks? Seems they didn't test anything. |

Oh? Why not remove the AUR dmg mods? You know...at least give us that much. It's not enough they're broken, but they use less CPU + PG...
But you and I both know they won't do that! Gotta make that dolla dolla bill! It's broken, why remove it! Just means more people going to buy it.
Kinda hypocritical on CCP's part tbh. The Booster is broken but they didn't release it, while the dmg mod been broken for months, yet it's still there.
Surely CCP fanboys can see this...or maybe not. |

Removing aur dmg mods are possible with a simple switch.
As for it being broken I havent sat down and did the math but I am sort of agreeing most of the early access aurum gear do NOT need cpu/grid reduction, it may be true that lower end suits may not fit them as easy but I suggest making up for thier hard to fit status on the aurum suits instead, if they're going to go aurum early acces make them go full aurum early access. |

There is a subtle difference.
The booster is broke in a way that renders it useless i.e. less money to CCP people buy it once realise it doesn't help and don't bother again.
The dmg mod is broke in a way that makes it more useful to players therefore more buy it and CCP make more $$$. |

I won't say the booster is broke. It's not being released because when applied it erases w/e booster you already had active. I can see people being angry over it, who wouldn't.
But people been angry and complaining about the dmg mods for months now. |

Its beside the point. ISK cost is supposed to be a balancing factor. When 2 people have access to full prototype fits, the differentiator will be your ISK generation capabilities. When you make all the prototype gear available with AUR you defeat that balance. When a regular person that spends $20/month on a merc pack goes up against p2w deep pockets and they both finish up their isk deposits, the regular Joe has to fall back on standard/advanced fits to generate more income, Mrs deep pockets instead falls back to at worst 2nd best prototype gear in the game. Not talking about fair, talking about balanced, there's plenty of ways to take money and be balanced. When its not balanced you kill the longevity of the game by showing you are only interested in short term money grab.

Are you considering when they allow eve transfers??? Even with a huge tax, what about those corps that will be able to transfer billions of ISK to their dust players? "ISK generation" will be useless.......see some of you look at aur like it's the bad guy when there is nothing wrong with the system. It is balanced.....all except for this VK.0 unlocked at lvl 3 |

And when this happens there will be a massive vacuum, all of the small corps that can't survive will either be swallowed up by the bigger corps or form their own massive alliance. Ydubbs is right, the major problem lies in the generating power of a massive Eve-Dust alliance that can produce a continuous stream of Isk and items. We will start seeing an economy based on the small percentage of the rich lording over the majority poor.
I guess, that is one of the reasons aur items can be used to even the playing field. Yes, large corps will still have the advantage, however, if the regular player can obtain proto level weapons/items that could give them an advantage (eventually we will get to the point where a large percent of the population will be at proto, at this point skill, not items will be the determining factor on who wins).
The coming months will be interesting as it will determine the direction of New Eden. Just remember, it doesn't matter how large a corp or alliance is, eventually they all fall apart. |
