Every match no matter what there are like 6 player Js on my team. Its like when I see PRO in a match. I just hope to God then are on the other team

Also, when I go logi I often end up at something like 2/10 and am at or near the top of the wp board.

These [original-posters] can't be that stupid, even if I had never [used-the-alphabet] before I think I'd be able to tell when [my-letters-were-out-of-order], I'd think I'd realize that this [N-comes-after-M]!

because of the game mechanics of people coming and going in a match, unless all 32 mercs start together and none drop out, the scorecard at the end of the game becomes increasingly meaningless. If they had a "battle time log" readout next to the names and stats you'd get a bigger picture.

Because the younger generation of gamers has been taught that everything should be handed to them without effort, and that in a competitive situation it is OK to not play to win.

I'd like to see these guys pull that attitude in high school or college football. They'd get the living crap beaten out of them every day after practice.

Seriously, why are there so many bad players who play this game. I mean what the F'uck, I just played an ambush game, we were losing bad, I turn around and see half of my team was camping on a bridge and shooting at people on the other side of the map with sub machine guns and the other half trying to no scope people with sniper rifles. Skirmish same thing, this went on all night, ended up winning 2/10 games.

These people can't be that stupid, even if I had never played a shooter before I think I'd be able to tell when my submachine gun isn't doing a damn thing from 100 meters away, I'd think I'd realize that this Quickscope/No scope cod style with this sniper rifle just isn't going to work after 5 deaths. The moronic heavies that block the doorways while you try to make your escape as 3 enemies are shooting you in the back.

i know there are bad players in every game, and Dust is no different but why so many are on Dust? I know the casuals/bad players are needed for the growth of the game but god, just don't be on my team, seriously segregate these players into a locked playlist and let them have at each other until they are up to speed on how the game is supposed to be played let alone actually learn how to shoot a gun. keep em there until they reach 2-3 million SP, surely it would be better for everybody and at least they wouldn't have to deal with getting stomped like cockroaches every game.

I'm sure it does, every single game we lose this is what the scoreboard looks like. i don't care about my K/D as long as we win I could care less. these people are interfering with my enjoyment of winning. if I'm going to lose I want to kill the teammates responsible, it's not like they'd notice, with how clueless most of these people are they'd probably think an enemy killed them anyway. Give me friendly fire already, I've had it with this sh!t.

You guys are a bunch of cowards. The numbers being stacked in your favor still ain't enough for you to combat me huh you scrubs?

"Skill" is nothing in this game compared to your SP, gear, and teammates. The blueberries appear to be getting worse because they're barely getting any rewards after getting stomped over and over, while the top guys are all rocking proto gear and abusing the broken damage mods. The game mechanics are confusing enough without being insta-popped before ever even reaching an objective.

I think we should be applauding these poor saps for sticking with the game even though they are essentially hapless cannon fodder until CCP figures out something for the vets to do besides pubstomp.

This is 80% of all pubs lately. Everyone stands in a blob on either side and just shoots at one another. I blame this on new ambush spawn system that all the baddies whined about....at least with the old system you could watch a battle progress and have several packs roaming around.

I'm not Rambo reincarnate but damn....at least I try and flank the enemy and be mindful of the match.

I'm not great at this game, haven't bothered joining a corp, and my K/D in games is usually about 6-3 or something. I started off trying to use an AR, but I suck at tracking. I play TF2 sometimes, so I'm pretty experienced with projectile physics combat, so I picked up a Mass Driver and love it.

But yeah. Bad players in all games. Shut up and move on.

I would happily swap accounts with anyone that has 4-5m SP as well as 5k+ AUR, in turn you can use my 700k 2 days old account, let's then see if you're still at the top of the WP. Wonder how long it will take for you to realise the only things you can do are get a free LAV dropped in so you can try to run the guantlet to enemy installations (in OMS) and hack them.

I can only wonder how high above you i'll be in the listings with 10 times your SP since at 700k i'm regularly top half - although most of the time more deaths to kills due to being 1-shotted everywhere I go [queue bad fitting cries] (win or lose).... the mind boggles...

On a lighter note - CONGRATS to CCP! Have just signed up to open beta after 5+ years as an EVE player and instantly knew where and what everything is, how and where to find it, I am amazed how much like EVE you have managed to get this ground-breaking gaming concept! Keep up the good work!

And in response to a remark I glanced at - as an EVE player... I cannot wait to start taking part in battles that effect New Eden! Faction Warfare or Nullsec Sov battles - BRING IT ON!! \o/

I love the new ambush system and all the blobs. It means that you CAN flank on your own and then have a wonderful time shooting into the red mass.

The frustration lies with Skirmish matches which do require teamwork. I do hope that the institute larger squads soon though as it will be a lot less frustrating.

They really need a 'beginner' section that is only accessible to people below a certain SP count. Sure, the newberries could still infest general PUB matches but at least it will give them a chance to get their feet wet before they enter the slaughterhouse.

There are so many bad players because Dust is far from being as easy to play as your regular shooter. You dont kill someone in 3 bullets in the thigh with whatever gun you use. You have t take into account distance and efficiency at all times. You need to know how to fight different types of ennemy in different situations. You can't just camp into one spot and hope to kill 5 dudes in a row with 20 bullets etc...

And tbh, it's what i enjoy the most in Dust 514. A good player will be even better than in another shooter. And a bad one, even badder.

I created a new player month ago and i did fine. Lots of bad players. Just to see ill make a 3rd tonight and see what happens but i bet my kdr is even or better.

now we are finally up to a game that is to be honest, an EZ mode PC game. this game is exaclty how the pc world is. and it's why the pc "elitests" as you call them look down on you:

you can't play games on their rig.

you can't even play games on YOUR OWN rig.


so in short, most of you casuals just aren't very good. never will be.

and every day... the best players get even better.

but hey look on the bright side:


corps will still need c average casuals to soak up bullets from time to time so there will be plenty of opportunity for you guys to continue to suck but with the added bonus of wearing clan tags while doing so.
