I played about an hour of Mass Effect myself... I couldn't find the appeal. The combat was clunky, the dialogue was okay I guess... I didn't find it that engaging at all :/

The sad thing is... this game would probably be significantly better if they just removed HAVs from the game. HAVs serve no purpose other than slaying... until that changes tanks will never be 'balanced'. In terms of tank v tank... I agree damage...
