they are fine as is, the mlt gear must always be worse then a skilled piece of kit, mlt gear is desgined so it can be tryed but not making it worthless to skill into a early level of a weapon

currently all planets that merc currently fight on are all the same class of planet ie, they have the same "stats" in eve there are differnt types of planets with different "stats" so its only a matter of time before they are implemented into dust...

Match making cant work on dust, the system is contract based & mercs fill the spaces in a contract & the player base is simply to small to justify the divide between players who want to play together.
