I think the race gear for the most part are not in yet, if you look at the skill books for vehicle they have ones for each race few other item types also hint at this. If they follow the Eve online each race will favor a type of repair and weapon ...

Back in Eve I was a recon pilot and would love to have a "recon" drop link that does not show up on the mini map. To balance it out make it like recon ships in eve make it need high end training.

As a support/medic this sounds like a really bad idea I don't want some silly icon over my head telling the other team to kill me first. What is in the game is mics just have good teams uses scouts to call out what enemies are doing and armor types.
