I haven't noticed a huge difference with the assault suits... if there is any difference. But then again I played MAG. Which is 2-3 times the speed and pace of Dust.

They probably have to be in orbit. Hence ORBITAL cannon. But I see no reason why it shouldn't be able to destroy capital ships. IMHO super caps should NOT be able to enter orbit (invent some lore about mass & gravity & colliding with plane...

Just do an 8vs8 battle, NO-ONE goes to objectives. Winner is determined by clones. Yes, this would qualify as a Team event. And be great fun too. No restriction on LAV fit, otherwise whoever brings missiles wins.
