My MD is my sidearm, my primary weapon is an HMG. But since I'm already carrying shield boosters, rechargers, armor plates, repairers, nanohives, repair tools, and injectors, I asked a nearby heavy to carry it for me. It's really heavy.

Yeah, I've seen people complain about MD's already. I can't say I've used even a small portion of the weapon types, but I see MD's as similar to nova knives in that they use completely different mechanics than the other weapons.

Tutorial is currently lacking. Fittings, skills, and market were easy enough, but I was surprised there wasn't at least a listing of the controls in the tutorial section. I did find it in the settings menu, but that's not the first place I'd expect.
