Some good replies in this thread, and possibly/probably a QTE isnt the way to approach this part of the game, but seems that taking out the side and rear hit detection is just sweeping a problem that could be turned into a a great gameplay mechani...

As yet i hear and see very small numbers of co-orinated attacks on HAV. When i do hear about co-ordinated efforts made against tank the result is they usually die quickly. Tank are definitively not indestructible, and a co-ordinated attack using ...

Ok, so last build getting run over by the LAV was frustrating, so CCP decided that to try and make this a less frustrating issue by implementing that only the front bumper of the vehicle would have impact on an innocent Merc running in the battle....
