but if they buff the range then there would be no use for drop ships or tanks to transport infantry across long open plains where sniper fire is a plenty the range where its at right now will work until all the numbers got done properly

I would not be surprised if they removed light weapons from the logi and forced them to stick with side arms unless the logi's have to spend more CPU and PG else where i don't think logi's will have much problem keeping up with assault players
