Maken Tosch wrote: I agree with this. In Eve Online, you often see players tell you to harden up when things go south for you. But what do they mean by that? Well, they don't mean that they will not help you when you are new and don't know cer...

402. Why do all...... - in General Discussions [original thread]
I don't play these games myself but some of my mates do. It's for the updated rosters. It's a big immersion breaker if you're playing as a certain team and there's someone on it who was playing on a different team in that game you just watched li...

404. WEAPON BALANCE - in General Discussions [original thread]
All things being well and good the weapons in Dust should be a rock/paper/scissors of better damage vs Armor/Shield and Range/DPS. I think they kinda are at the moment, aren't they?

405. Was it AR or gal assault? - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
This might be a bit out there, but to discourage dual-tanking why not add penalties to armor modules that effect shield and vica versa? Coupled with the 'add base suit HP/decrease module HP' it would encourage players to stick with one type of tan...

Cool to see so many old characters still around. Archduke - Any way to give us the name of the first non-Dev character created, and is it Chribba?

408. NPE testing shows severe problems - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Sicerly, your need to disagree with everyone is clearly clouding you to the fact Apollo is with you on this. He, like you, knows the NPE is a mess and it needs fixing. You are right that the fix needs to include much better tutorials and a long...

409. MATCHMAKER - in General Discussions [original thread]
From how I've heard it described by the Devs, the MU for each player should be fairly accurate. I think it all falls down when the matchmaker tries to do its thing from such a limited number of players.

So the above helps the people that are leaving because of an ISK hemorrhage. What about those who are precious about their KD? Stop tracking it. Start tracking ISK efficiency in pubs. Start generating Killmails (did someone say new proxy node?) ...
